My seven-year-old daughter is autistic and experiences severe anxiety around dental and medical appointments, largely due to previous experiences at other providers. Denny, the office manager, is a fantastic asset to the team. She made the intake process smooth and was exceptionally welcoming when we arrived. Knowing she has years of experience with special needs children was a relief. She was kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything to both me and my daughter, helping her feel comfortable and informed. Dr. Shruti Pandhi was also wonderful--she showed great patience and helped my daughter feel safe in an environment that would usually be intimidating for her. The office itself is clean, inviting, and perfectly kid-friendly without being overstimulating, which is a big plus for children with sensory sensitivities. We're so glad we chose Kids Dental Express!

I was nervous that this would make him afraid to go to the dentist but he went through the whole procedure like it was nothing because Dr. John and Ms. Claudia made him feel super comfortable and relaxed. I can't thank them enough for making it a positive experience for him. All the staff here are always incredibly friendly and polite and wonderful with my kids. We've been seeing the drs here for over two years and couldn't be any happier. When it comes to pediatrics dentists, it's never an easy chore. I have 3 Kids all 17 months apart and each could t be any more different than the other. The great thing is that they know inherently how to work with each of them; particularly with my son that has sensory issues and auditory processing disorder. I can't begin to tell you how challenging it's been to find a doctor for him in Orlando. The practice is very nice, extremely clean and has a very amazing staff. The office works hard so that we know of any costs not covered by insurance and the prices are very fair. Most importantly...let's talk about scheduling and waits. Surprise! They schedule appropriately and we have NEVER waited. Plus they even have enough chairs that all 3 of my kids can get cleaned and examined all at once!!! I love this place :-)

So by telling me I don't, you are saying I am lying and showed up just to cause an issue. I explained that we were scheduled by someone in your office, so I should be accommodated as a patient with an appointment. She responded not only blaming a person they apparently fired (so shifting blame) but that they would not inconvenience patience with "ACTUAL" (yes she said that, and didn't see herself as being rude) appointments to fit my appointment in. Excuse me, I too have an actual! appointment made by Peak Dental office staff (fired or not still your office is accountable). I was told "you have two options, reschedule or leave". Which do you think I chose? Listen when I do something stupid and come on wrong day, that's on me, I am embarrassed and sorry, but I came when I was told and was treated as if I was the one being rude. Just fix it when your office staff ,whether there or not, is in the wrong. Don't belittle the patient. You have no idea what I went through to be there.

After the office confirmed the price through our insurance, my husband agreed to have the crown. He paid the quoted price in full and received the service. Months later, we received a bill for over $500. They were claiming it was an outstanding balance. After calling to find out what it was all about , they said it was the remaining balance for the crown. They claimed our insurance refused the claim. I have never been to a Dr or dentist that didn't confirm pricing and authorization of a procedure prior to doing said procedure. Apparently, peak dental , under the new management does things a bit more shady. They tell you a procedure is approved , quote you a price via your insurance and then do the procedure . We are now aware that they are scammers that do dental work at the insurance cost but fail to run it through insurance properly or not at all and the after the procedure is done, months later they send you a bill for hundreds of dollars saying , the procedure wasn't covered by insurance. That's bologna. Crowns are covered by insurance. Everyone who's had insurance knows this. It's still costly but typically insurance covers half the price. Since the change of ownership we have not been very happy going there . The staff that we were familiar with have all left . The last girl that cleaned my teeth actually talked to me about the mass exodus of the staff. She said the new owners weren't running things as they though fit. Patients were complaining and she herself was on her way out. Since nobody that we were use to seeing is there anymore, it won't be a big deal finding a new dentist since everyone at Peak Dental is new anyway . I'm putting this on Yelp because I don't like when people try to rip me off and lie in order to take my money after they've completed a procedure and quoted me the price that was paid in full and I would have loved to have known their tactics prior. I'm hoping to help other people not to have to deal with this issue.
