I have been to multiple chiropractors over the years and it was always the same thing walk in they do the same "crack your back" and off you go. Dr. Deatherage puts together a comprehensive treatment plan based on X-rays. Explains everything and adjusts his adjustments "No pun intended" as needed in a visit to visit basis. I told the woman behind the desk that I don't do things with electronics and that if she asked me the questions or information needed I would give it to her to input on the machine. All the ladies refused to help me out and told me I wouldn't be seeing the doctor in that case. HOW RUDE!!! And signage all around the waiting area was directed to the fact that I MIGHT be charged for exams and extras and needed to sign on to that information if insurance was going to be paid. In long 7 months ago, my lovely bride suffered a serious stroke and has lots of atrophy and inflammation in her affected arm and leg, because they don't move as much as they did before the incident. Month before last, we wanted to re-establish her with massage care, and left ESR a message. Waited a week. No response. Tried again. No response. Tried the online form to book an appointment. Still no response. Left one more VM while I started looking for somewhere else we could take her. A week later, they finally called back. 4th time's the charm, right? They sounded organized enough on the phone that I was ready to give them one last shot. They couldn't quite fully explain the difference between their specialists, but they got close enough that I just picked one. Still have to wait yet another week to get seen, and now we're well over a month into this process. They did a lot of intake work over the phone with me, and said it'd be nice (didn't sound required) if I could bring a paper copy of one form with me. Totally my fault--I couldn't find it. Certainly was my issue. But we couldn't be seen. At this point, even if the care in back is solid, there's such a long-standing pattern of obstacles, sloppiness, and indifference that it wouldn't have seemed wise to proceed, even if they let us. They changed their booking to only a month out which makes it difficult to get scheduled appointments. I've taken in documentation multiple times and it has not been saved in their system and was just asked to bring it in again. Doctors and companies like this need to work directly together as people don't know all the things required to bring in or the coding that they need. This has been nothing but frustrating and a waste of my time to be doing all the paperwork they require. I arrived early for my 6pm appointment with Dr Ball, I saw a new person at the desk, she was polite at first, i offered to give her my new debit card to keep on file.So I could pay my forty dollar coPay on monday or wednesday?Which is my payday as we live paycheck to paycheck right now with the high cost of living in washington state, usually the people at the desk are lenient about it.And it's not a problem, and we don't carry a balance... She was very argumentative, picked up the phone and started reporting it to a manager as if ive done something wrong . I was confused about her attitude, and I let her know that it's usually not a problem If i've ever asked and it's only a couple of days, we have very expensive insurance That covers everything.And she kept arguing... being disrespectful, I asked her to stop with her causing me stress as I was there for a painful issue, she kept lecturing, gas liteing, baiting me, I finally said please stop!! I went to room 4 , the door was open at that point, and I could hear her talking really loud in the front office about me.Saying untrue statements to someone on the phone...
