There's been some recent-ish renovations to try to keep the store looking fresh. They're partially successful. Oddly though the women's shoes and accessories are on the ground floor, along with the men's clothes. The next floor up is all women's clothes, with the top floor having homewear-type things. And a Sports Direct concession, and workout wear. It just means you have to be prepared to traipse up and down and all around to find everything. But when you do, good bargains to be had in the blue cross sales, and a good variety of brands and clothes for both men and women.

I really liked the selection of men's clothing here now, its reminds me of the stores in the US like Macy's and Saks. You get what you pay for, and you will pay here. There are three floors of mens and womens clothing, children's clothing, curtains, rugs, carpets, electrical appliances, perfume, makeup, furniture, toys, computers, cameras, TV's, stereo's, exercise machines, kitchen ware, etc. On the top floor then also have a restaurant that looks out over Brent Cross shopping centre. I find there staff at John Lewis very helpful. They're not just knowledgeable in the products that they are selling but the are exceptionally friendly too. I feel that John Lewis has a reputation for being pricier than the average high street shop selling the same or similar products. Whether there is any truth in that, I'm not sure.

St Ann's is bang opposite Harrow-on-the-hill Tube station and Harrow Bus Station. The mall has fairly large parking with affordable prices (£1 for an hour) and has the common highstreet options like Primark, BHS, M & S attached to it. There is a Clarks, Shoezone, H & M as well as a small Boots store. There is a larger Boots in St George's. The food court above has a KFC, Pizza Corner Express, Burger King, Subway Spudulike and an El Mexicana (similar to Chilango etc but avoid it at all costs). There is also a Fuji Juice Station which makes fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices and Smoothies and has a Millie's Attached to it. So plenty of food options. Over-all a nice little mall but wife tells me that the options and clothing lines that are on display are nothing great and she still misses the Manchester Arndale! According to me one of the better and nearest shopping option if you live in and around Harrow as it has a little bit of everything.

Factory Outlet North Finchley is nothing like that. There are some good deals to be had, even a rack starting at just 5 pounds. I'll admit the clothes in this shop are taste-full and beautiful. There is a particularly nice brown ruffle dress in a silky material for 22 pounds and some lovely knits that wrap around your body. The staff here is friendly enough and not up your arse, in a way that is common in a small store. I like to come in here and have a poke around. I will note this store only sells clothing so no handbags or shoes on offer.
