    Mae Fence Company

Also Kevin who was our sales guy was very up front which is what I like. He also did not haggle us. The scheduling department was very spot on and make sure that they communicated with us about anything and everything.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The initial transaction…read moretook place on June 27, 2024, when Mae Fence was paid a deposit of $4,465.00, which was half of the total fence cost. The fence was installed in October 2024, and the final payment of $3,465.00 was made on November 6, 2024. During installation, the crew damaged a water pipe, which required immediate repair. My husband and I had to locate and hire an additional company to come out and fix the broken pipe. We paid for the repair out of pocket. As a result, Mae deducted $1,000.00 from the final payment, reducing it from $4,465.00 to $3,465.00. The business committed to providing quality services and products, backed by a lifetime warranty on the aluminum fence, a three-year installation warranty, and a one-year warranty on the gate, gate closures, and locking mechanisms. The nature of this dispute concerns issues related to the fence installation: 1a) Yard damage during the installation process. 1b) The gate closure is loose and unsecured. Regarding 1a, during the initial installation, the crew dug several large holes in both our yard and our neighbor's yard. These gaping holes remain unfilled, with no grass restoration, and present a physical hazard on both properties. Regarding 1b, the gate closure is loose, does not shut flush, and a nail has fallen out at the closure site. My husband and I have attempted to contact the company multiple times, but we have received little to no response. The takeaway is this: our yard is unsafe, and we paid for a fence that was improperly installed.

They suck. Always making excuses as to why I didn't get water delivered. And then you have to wait…read moredays to get water. DONT USE!!!!!!!!!! Also, if you have a payment due on account, make sure it is there a week early or they won't deliver because they say, "It didn't show up", or "It's still processing." Staff not that friendly either.

Run away! Highly recommend finding any other water softener system service available…read more Originally called Culligan because of the convenient salt delivery service. Their salesman came to our home and did tests on our current water softener system (older culligan model). He used a bunch of colored water vials and numbers to present his case that our current system was only functioning at 50% and recommended a new one. We bought the bait and financed a new softener. Their installer, Lacy, (looooong story short) had to come out 3 different times because we were still having hard water (worse than our supposed 50% performance before the new system). I'm still not convinced that the performance is where it should be but at this point I'm sure there's nothing the installer or equipment could do better. We've accepted that we're just going to have poor water. So fast forward to our first delivery. We were mailed our delivery schedule. I woke up one day to several bags of salt propped up against my house. I called the office to ask several things: 1-We were told the delivery person would call the day before to confirm the delivery window, 2-Why didn't they call or ring our doorbell (which would have woken me up). The admin said they had sent us the wrong delivery schedule because the account noted a different set of dates. Still didn't resolve the issue of not calling, knocking or ringing the bell. So, the admin sent a new delivery schedule. Fully anticipating the same problems, I expected a call yesterday confirming today's delivery. Nope, no such call was made. Come today, I made it a point to wait in our living room by the door so I'd hear a knock, call, or doorbell. At about 2:05pm I heard a door slam outside, so I went to the door in hopes to catch him before the delivery was offloaded onto our driveway. I opened the door and stepped out just in time to see him driving away. Despite waving my arms and yelling as loud as I could, he kept driving. When I called the office the office manager was conveniently out for the day. This "convenient" service comes to the tune of $200-400 a year. Absolutely not worth the money. We could buy the salt ourselves and haul it downstairs (which I'm having to do anyway!) and save the money and stress of having to deal with this incompetent office. Bottom line: if you want simple, stress-free, and value go somewhere else. Update: Today's delivery man called back to let me know he'd be out the next day to bring it inside. Awesome - so if it rains overnight we're going to have wet bags (which are often times punctured, this allowing water to get inside them) of salt brought in. When I asked about calling or using the doorbell the reasons given were he doesn't have signal and didn't notice our doorbell. I call BS...the attached photo shows our "hidden" doorbell lol.

This place has been an absolute nightmare from the moment we signed up. The initial installer told…read moreus from the get go that we did not have a good setup for this service but said he could make it work and drilled a hole in our wall to make it work. After putting it next to our washer and dryer, up against the wall and a terrible installation, it leaked all over and has ruined the dry wall and other parts of the home on top of causing the last two water bills to increase 300% of what we were paying before installation. When we had a tech come out to check and "fix" the problem, he told us he took a bunch of pictures and attached them to the service report and that PureH2O would send a certified contractor out to estimate the cost of repairs and get it done for us. All we wanted was for them to take the system back because we hadn't made a payment on the system as of that time. We were told "do not wait for the company to call you, stay on them and they will take care of it". They claim to have fixed the leak so we started the process to get the home fixed. (We wanted out of the whole entire process but they told us there was only a 3 day return policy which makes no sense because we didn't know the extent of the damage and leak until we received our first water bill at $160 for the month. Upon discussing the options with them they continually told us "we will make this right". Since that conversation, a service manager came out and tried to tell us all of the ways we needed to cut into our air ducts or wall to provide a new space to put the system. When we refused to adjust the integrity of our house they said the system could stay where it is and we shouldn't have any more problems with it. After speaking to another person this morning, they told us that all of the things we said happened didn't happen and that the people who serviced our system did not take pictures and told them there was no damage to the home. (We have pictures and video and both service techs stated they took pictures and saw the damage as well). They also stated the original installer put in the report that there was no dryer or washer when they installed the system which was a complete lie that we have proof of. Long story short, this company sucks and I would not recommend. They will lie to you, try to turn the blame on you, and not honor anything that they tell you they will do to "make it right". Part of my short term goals in my life now is to make sure no one else falls victim to this criminal company. Do not do business with this company, you will regret it.

Also known as RAINSOFT. They send reps out to local HomeDepots and have them do "water surveys"…read morewith whatever unsuspecting customer will stop to talk to them. DO NOT fill out these surveys, trust me they do not care one bit about your water. They will call you relentlessly and when leads dry up they will call surveys that are years old. They set up an appointment to test your water and send a "tech" to your home to do a "water test" for you. Idk what they're testing or if the test is even valid because it's just a part of the scheme to sell you a ridiculously priced water softener. I mean these things are $8,000+. If you're part of a couple and only one of you will be home they will refuse to set the appointment bc they know 9/10 times one partner will not make such a large purchase without the other person knowing. They won't go out to apartments at all or homes under a certain price. Obviously none of it is about your water, if you really feel like you need a test buy one and do it yourself, if you're in need of a water softener save yourself the hassle and get a water boss, they work just fine.
