The inventory was either too expensive or too large for the space. Thank goodness I came across an ad for a dresser listed on FB Market. It was exactly the style and color I wanted, and I saved so much money! It was one third the price, and looked just identical to the dresser I saw in one of the local furniture stores. I wanted to send a big mahalo to Grace the store owner, and the two employees Allene and Kilana for keeping it safe so it was there for me when I got to the store today. It was a perfect transaction and it was a perfect dresser.

They also have a HUGE range of items at a good price. The 1 star is for the horrible signs outside their business that they subject the community to. The signs used to be witty and fun but now they are sexist, rude, low key right wing, and not funny or related to any of their products. Hundreds of people and Mo'ili'ili commuters are stuck driving by their stupid sign every day. After receiving a few estimates based on sending photos via email, I found Coreen at Island Awning. Something about her personal and quick response, led me to load the chairs up to drop them off. And although it was a bit of a challenge to find them and park, the friendliness, professionalism, and personalized/quick service was worth it! Coreen and husband AJ are a great team. The shop is in a bright pink building on Palama St. And although it may be a bit challenging to drop off/pick up your item, AJ is quick to meet you, offload your furniture, and guide you out of the short driveway. The result was outstanding, and price? Very nice!

Heard about this place from one of those free family magazines, and finally got around to trying…read moreit. They design photo books for you with your photos, drawings, letters, and whatever else you submit. I actually just called for some information, and ended up meeting with them for a free "consultation" where I got to see their sample books and get an idea of what they could do with my pictures. They had a variety of sizes and covers (some of which weren't on their website, so it was worth meeting with them in person), and my book was done in just a few weeks. I had a lot of pictures (over 400!) of my son that I wanted organized and presentable, and they did a great job at doing the layouts and designing the book for me. I even had scans of his birth announcements and footprints and handprints included in the book (the original ones I took were kinda smearing). The whole ordering process was unbelievably simple - I just had to answer a few questions on what I wanted for the title, color schemes, and select which fonts and backgrounds and stuff that I wanted them to use. I am even ordering two more copies of the book for my parents and in-laws (they give a discount for ordering additional copies). The only drawback is that it can be pricey (more expensive than if I had taken the time to do the layouts and ordered a photo book online thru Shutterfly or some other place myself), but well worth the money considering the time I saved with them doing all the layouts and designing for me.
