Fried chicken -great! Fried catfish -great ! Smash burger - better than the other burger places ! Sides are all great as well. Collards are some of the best I've had in a restaurant setting. Salads are great too. ( Side and entree ) Service is good and fast as you order and pay at counter and then sit and wait for them to bring your food to the table. Then they continue to wait on you. Filling drinks and bringing you what you need. I feel like the owners are always in there working- making sure the place runs well. Talking to people, running food out. I always feel taken care of. The food was barely warm and the chicken was quite greasy with very little flavor. A good southern restaurant should have great iced tea, too, but again, not even close. We both declined dessert as it looked as if it had been sitting in those cases for several days. Also, no real butter to be found. Just that whipped spread that doesn't have a trace of milk or cream in it. No ambience inside, just several wooden tables everywhere and a few booths with torn seats and backs. The floor was pretty dirty and the whole place could benefit from a good cleaning. This is a first and last time for me as this restaurant does not even come close to real home cooked southern food.
