I visited earlier this year to watch Tuscaloosa County High put on a production of Beauty and the Beast. The inside looks like you're sitting outside the doors of a beautiful castle, faux brick lining the walls, balconies, and the ceiling painted like the sky. The little lights embedded in the ceiling come on when the lights go off so it looks like your gazing at the stars. The seats are by no means five star but they aren't intolerable either. They have a concessions area with typical theater prices. The biggest negative is the parking. It can be a real stinker and you may have quite a walk.

The Snack Shack is lacking in options, but fortunately there is an eatery attached to the outlet that is not any farther walk than the Snack Shack. Restrooms are also located near the eatery. Rules state that outside food and drink are prohibited, but I don't think anyone would approach you over it, after all, you are in your own, personal, vehicle. If you're looking for a chill, low-key movie experience, I definitely recommend hitting a Sunday matinee here. It's a great way to enjoy a film without the usual weekend chaos. But I love New Vision's reward club, no cards needed just your phone number. The only thing is sometimes you have to remind your cashier to take your number for points. But I'm already reaping the rewards so I'm very pleased. The theater is large and well cared for. I wish Montgomery would get assigned seating already, because during the opening of a big movie you have to get to the theater pretty early to get a good seat. They introduced some new concessions items like crispy cookies (not worth the money) and donuts (still have to try these). The icees are good and they have a large selection of coke products. I like coming to this theater because it's close to me. It would be cool if they had more 10am showings of popular movies. But I do love the Friday 10am lineups.
