Little did I know this place did both. Miguel accommodated me same day among all the other appointments seamlessly. The water temp was 49 degrees and it did the job of bringing down the inflammation and relieving the soreness in just 5.5 minutes plunged to my neck. The infrared sauna was 170 when I snuck in after the could plunge and by 30 minutes in, I was sweating beautifully. I came back for a second round 2 days later and was ready to hit the road, soreness relieved, for the 5 hour drive to South TX. I do appreciate the attention to details with the eucalyptus infused cool cloths and the Vitamin C showx er after sauna. I'll be hoping for one of these places closer by home and will definitely be revisiting this one next time I'm in Allen. I enjoyed a follow up call from Gabriel as well. It's mostly a sauna house, as the name states, there's only one cold plunge. The staff is super friendly, but the cold plunge machine itself isn't very comfortable. It's the cool wooden looking one, but you can't stretch your legs. So you have to sit on your knees or cross legged to be fully submerged. I think they kept it at 48 degrees, and honestly doesn't feel so cold because of the small size. I have been here once before and the sauna is nice, it's small but that means it gets really hot! I love the vitamin c infused showerheads they have. It's not bougie by like an equinox, but it's a lovely place where you can get a sweat (lots of avails for sauana, but book in advance for cold plunge).

I also requested a full refund which they said they would. Hey guys I just want to share my terrible experiences that I have suffered from Merum Face Bar on Watters Creek, Allen. I came in on Friday for a relaxing facial massage which supposed to be gentle - no harsh chemical peel or laser. During the facial, I did notice a burning sensation on my face so I immediately told her and she took the pumpkin enzyme off and it calmed down. It was over an hour facial and they should have noticed my irritation during the process and could have stopped the facial. I also communicated with them clearly about my skin type and the products I have been using. I have combination/oily skin and my skin is not sensitive at all. I never had any allergic reaction to any skin care products I have bought from Sephora/Spa/Clinic etc in my whole life. I also get facial at different spas once in a while but this never happened before. Now they are telling me to seek professional help as there is not much they can do. I am traumatized looking at my face right now. I could not see a dermatologist on the weekend and still do not know if anyone can squeeze me in next week so my anxiety is crazy right now.... Also, They don't even offer me any post facial cream to help with the irritation. No offer to issue a full refund on this traumatized experiences.
