    Love the dumplings here! Tried the cumin lamb noodles and was very cumin-y LOL! Not my favourite but wasn't bad. XLB, pan fried pork dumpling and beef green onion wrap was super delicious!

    Tasty and very reasonable prices. Friendly staffs, clean and spacious place, and easy to find. Walkable to bus stops and a bit further walk but still walking distance to the skytrain station. Parking lots right beside but it's a bit small and there's some street parking around the area. Lots of options on the menu but unfortunately they don't serve alcohol. They have good breakfast too but the menu would be a little different from the rest of the day. All good and I highly recommend! New owner and it's worth the try!

Not really an authentic Szechuan restaurant. 30 years ago, most chinese cuisines were cooked by hong kongers or south chinese people. So, most of these dishes are going to be a southern take on it. Hot and sour soup - price is awesome. $11 enough for at least 6 bowls. Souo base is missing a bit of flavor but it is jam packed with ingredients. Drunken chicken - it was ok. Little on the salty side. Shanghainese pan fried pork buns - these were probably the worst I've had. Not made in house and not properly pan fried. No juice, super dry, no fried bottom crust. Bean curd wrapped pork dim sum - surprisingly this came out last. At least 20 min has passed. This is a steamed dish but it came out with dried edges like it was sitting on a dry heater. Taste was ok. Mapo tofu - asked for extra spicy and extra numbing. Numbing was there but nowhere near real szechuan numbing. Was not spicy at all. Sauce was more oily than saucey. The price point reflects the quality. Things are either mediocre or a complete miss. Would come again to try only the better stuff. Staff was friendly. Came to try to refill the tea way more times than normal. The iron goddess tea tastes much better than a lot of dim sum places elsewhere.

She went to the woman at the pay station, they both peered around the till, looked me up and down, went behind the till and then looked out at me again and lady from the front comes over and says nope, you can come tomorrow. Im like what?! Stunned and not sure what to say. I said no one is here, we are, whats the problem? She said no, no,no can't, nope,cant reserved .... then she physically leaned around me and started speaking to the new person that came in the door. Like i never existed. Unbelievable to be treated like a piece of crap on the floor. Never have I been treated so bad and felt less than as a human being. Never ever will we go there ever again. And I will tell everyone i know how they treat people. Like i wasnt their race, their ideal customer. DISGUSTING behavior!!!!!

Faced with two locations, I picked the newer one for reasons I can't quite explain, and thus began an amazing journey. The spacious parking area was a great start, and as soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a bright, soothing, and clean environment. The Far East vibes were unmistakable, with signs all around confirming I was in a Chinese place. A polite girl greeted us and guided us through the extensive menu, helping us choose the best dishes and combinations. To give some context, Indo-Chinese food originated in Kolkata, Bengal, and evolved as it spread across India, with each region adding its own twist. My favorite is Bangladeshi Chinese, known for its aroma, toned textures, and balanced, soothing sauces and condiments. Although Indo-Chinese variations have diverged from their Bengali-Chinese roots, I was hoping to find something that would closely match my taste preferences. That's when a gentleman named Abrar approached us. To my delight, he was from Kolkata, the birthplace of Indo-Chinese cuisine. He took the time to understand our preferences, crafting recommendations that seemed tailored just for us. He went above and beyond, even deciding how to tweak their original dishes to match our taste buds. We decided to go all out with his suggested combinations. We started with the appetizer, the Spicy chili garlic wings, and they were incredible--thin, yet with the crispiest crust, perfectly balanced with the chili garlic sauce. They were well-marinated with no gaminess, and the juicy inner layer contrasted beautifully with the crunchy exterior. 5/5. The Masala Fish blew us away--it was unforgettable. It wasn't overly spicy; a hint of sweetness brought out the flavors, with a light, airy crunch giving way to melt-in-your-mouth fish. The Crispy Chili Beef was very special. It wasn't dry, with a perfect semi-crisp exterior and juicy interior. Each bite validated how beef should be cooked. The sauce was perfectly balanced, neither too salty nor too sour. The Ginger garlic chicken was stir-fried to perfection, super soft with a soothing gravy, and the perfect blend of oriental sauces. Everything was balanced just right. The vegetable Hakka chowmein were not too oily, and though the noodles were a bit thinner than usual, they complemented every entrée so well it felt like a match made in heaven. Finally, the dessert--Ice cream with fried banana--was an ingenious creation. The warm, crunchy banana paired perfectly with the cold ice cream, creating a delightful ending to the meal. The girl at the reception (sorry, I didn't ask her name) was incredibly cordial, checking in on us several times and even offering complimentary green tea. Abrar also checked in on us a couple of times, providing exceptional service. I noticed him being attentive to every customer, offering nothing short of the best service you can get in a restaurant. I know taste buds vary, and Indo-Chinese palates differ across the subcontinent, but as someone extremely picky about Indo-Chinese food, I feel I had my best Indo-Chinese experience in North America at Dragon Wok. You know it is legit when someone says their favourite Chinese restaurant is outside of Richmond and Vancouver, which are home to many delicious Chinese restaurants! Service was friendly. It was attentive at the start, but soon went downhill. We had to flag down the server to take our order, get our bill, and follow up on the congee that comes with the menu over $30. Despite being 1 of 4 tables, the food also took a while to come, but once one came then most dishes came quickly after (except for the tofu and congee). The servers were friendly, but just not attentive. We ordered 2 noodle dishes and 3 other dishes and prices were decent around $13-$15 per item. The stir fried beef noodles was well flavoured and not too salty. It was a touch greasy and some of the noodles were choppy, but it was the bean sprout/cabbage/onion that tasted off. It didn't taste fresh. The Shanghainese fried noodles was one of my favourites of the night. The noodles were a touch firm, but the flavour was pleasant - not too salty or sweet. The salt pepper pork chop came with fried garlic, onions and peppers. It wasn't overly salty, but the pork chop was dry and didn't taste fresh - tasted like it was frozen and just defrosted. The honey garlic spareribs was another favourite of mine. It was fried crispy and the flavour wasn't overly strong - not too garlicky or overwhelmly sweet. There are different versions of the fried tofu. Some restaurants make them with ample of stir fried garlic or onions and chili pepper. This version looked like squares of chicken nuggets with no toppings. It had a crispy coating and soft interior, but it definitely didn't resembled what the dish usually is. Overall, some of the ingredients and dishes didn't taste fresh, and we were utterly disappointed with the quality and taste of some of the dishes.

This place is tiny, as in it can seat about 20 people, and every table had people and had piping hot food on each. Both me and my friend needed to wait a few minutes till someone left, and when we got seated, they gave us their regular menu, and later on gave us a picture book.. and if you guessed it.... everything on their menu with a separate picture. My friend ordered his bowl of spicy pork chop glass noodles in soup, and I had a dry version of spicy noodles with pork. We also ordered their deep fried tofu, deep fried chicken, and a plate of spicy cucumber. Every dish was done just right, and what I mean by that is that every hot dish seemed to be made to order, and it was confirmed when we spoke to the lady there. The spicy cucumber dish came out, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients, the cucumber, although the chili oil used was spicy, due to the freshness of the cucumber, was sweet too. The deep fried tofu had a nice hard outer deep fried shell, and yet the inside was soft and really hot, the chicken took the longest, but this was worth waiting for, with the thin deep fried batter, I don't think I have ever had chicken this hot in temperature, and it was great. Both noodle dishes were huge, and I wondered how my friend ended up eating all of his, I had to take 1/3 of mine home as it was too much. We also ordered a plum drink and a hawthorne drink and at the end was served complimentary jelly as dessert. This was a great meal and if you are in the area, I would recommend you try this place out.
