If you're looking for an acupuncturist .. look no further. I started getting treatments in January and to say this was life changing, would be an understatement! I have suffered from a neurological disorder since March of 2013. I was told my condition was chronic, with that I have experienced headaches, brain fog, brain surgeries, depression, anxiety and tremendous pain for many years. This last January, my symptoms worsened and I was very anxious that this would mean another brain surgery for me. I was very skeptical about acupuncture being able to help my condition. After speaking with Bree in depth and seeing how much she truly cared about getting to the root cause, I decided to give treatment a try. I can honestly say with 100% certainty, Bree has helped change my life. I am no longer experiencing these severe symptoms. My headaches and brain fog have disappeared. My anxiety and depression have majorly decreased. I am not taking any medications for these symptoms. (Previously, I felt they were the only answer). Most importantly, I have not had to go to the hospital(which was a pretty regular occurrence for me in the past). Bree has given me many tools and knowledge to help me overcome these issues without pharmaceuticals. Peace within Acupuncture is truly the best alternative healthcare I have ever received. If you're looking for a holistic approach to your health journey, I would highly recommend this business without question! Thank you Bree! read more

Peace within acupuncture has done wonders for my knee and back pain. Bree is an amazing professional who takes the time to get to know you and everything in your past medical history so that she can better help treat you. This is not some run-of-the-mill fake treatment. I was skeptical of acupuncture but Bree is certified and has studied for years for this practice. I have left feeling amazing and I can't stop referring people to her. Do not pass on the opportunity to schedule with Bree. read more

Brianna Honey is a wonderful massage therapist and I'd highly recommend her for sports therapy massage, deep tissue, etc. She works independently (LLC) and also through Terrapin Care Center in College Park, MD. I have to say that I've been to dozens of licensed massage therapists and she's one of the best. Brianna received her license in early 2012; however, you would never know it by the quality of her work and her level of knowledge. She's very passionate about wellness and it shows. She truly cares about her clients and makes you feel welcome and at ease. This is really important when you're getting deep tissue massage because it's painful and it helps to have someone working on you that makes you feel relaxed. She's got an awesome personality and is just really caring and warm. :) I'd highly recommend Brianna for any type of massage. She's worked wonders on me after a running-related injury that left me with trigger point and hip pain on my left side. In must a matter of a few weeks, I've been feeling so much better and have been able to resume my exercise routine. read more

I found Brianna Honey through Yelp, when I was in critical need of a massage due to ongoing complications from a shoulder injury. I was very lucky to find her - she scheduled me immediately and her Deep Tissue massage provided instant relief. The next day, I was back on my running and strength training schedule. In addition to working independently, she shared with me that she also works at Terrapin Care Center in College Park, MD. I scheduled an appointment and am now a client to both Brianna and Terrapin Care and feel very comforted and confident in their ability to provide quality service and care. Brianna is warm and kind - and truly cares about her clients' well being as well as their knowledge about their own health. read more

I wish there was an option for a million star rating! I cannot imagine having to go back to a time where I didn't see Bree. I've never had a health care provider advocate for my health more than Bree has; not enough words to say how amazing she is! For six straight months I experienced uncontrollable & unexplainable (in the MD field anyhow) vaginal bleeding. I am not exaggerating when I say every single day, all day, all night, having to get up several times during the night. Bree worked before and after hours to find a cure for what was happening to me. I'm SO happy to say, SHE DID IT!!! She did a TON of research and put in many hours to fix not just my body, but my mind, my mental health & my soul. I want you all to know that I saw 4 different MD's, went to the ER twice and had multiple scans that gave zero answers to the problem. All these doctors have wanted to do is operate! I lost so much blood over the 6 month time period that I had to get two transfusions in order to maintain life and I'm still not back up to normal levels. Unbelievable what our "health care" field has become. I am grateful to have found Bree almost two years ago. She has helped me with numerous issues but by far, I 100% believe she has been the one to save me; not just my life, but so much more! GO, RUN, make your appointment!! You will not be disappointed! read more

I have been receiving acupuncture treatments with Brianna for the last 2 years! I have to say, she is one heck of an acupuncturist and I feel so blessed to have found her and have received her healing work. I started seeing her for my fatigue, mood disorders, anemia and depression after a miscarriage. She was able to help me with the coping process through her healing words and acupuncture treatments. She has a way of listening deeply to what is needed by her patients and act on it. I can trust her with treating me as a whole person on all three body, mind and spirit levels. If you are near Columbia area and are looking for an acupuncturist I highly recommend her, you won't be sorry. Namaste read more

Bree is an excellent provider. She is intelligent and intuitive. She has helped me tremendously in the short amount of time I have seen her. Bree is a very kind person to begin with and she is absolutely dedicated to her craft. She puts 100% of her energy and time into every treatment. I would recommend Bree to everyone, including my family. For anyone on the fence, I come from a background of western medicine. I would recommend anyone on the fence about acupuncture to try it for at least a few weeks. read more

I have seen dozens of massage therapists all over the world and Bree is truly up there with the best. After weeks of dealing with a back injury Bree had me pain-free after one visit. Bree is very insightful and cares enough to take the time to figure your specific needs. She is incredibly knowledgeable in numerous methods and practices and helps me modify my lifestyle to better my health. I now see her on a regular basis and fully trust her with my physical health and well-being. read more

Between my schoolwork and my jobs, I sit at desks and in front of computers for long periods of time. About a year ago I started seeing Bree once a month for a 90-minute massage to address all of the issues related to sitting for hours. Before she begins Bree always asks how I'm feeling that day (i.e., what hurts, what is tight). Even though she will focus a little more time on the issue(s) of the day, the massage is indeed a full body massage. This is particularly important because sometimes the pain or tightness you feel are symptoms of an issue elsewhere on your body. Bree is professional and also very accommodating with scheduling. In terms of the massages Bree is one of the few therapists I have gone to who uses the amount of pressure that works for me (i.e., heavier), and she also practices cupping. I appreciate that she is able to provide suggestions on how to feel good/better in between my visits to her (e.g., stretching exercises, healthier food options) without being preachy. read more

I highly recommend Brianna. My experience as a patient under her care has been nothing short of life changing. Brianna is gentle, compassionate, knowledgeable, and is incredibly dedicated to reminding me that I am capable of bringing about my own healing. I initially came to see her for excruciatingly painful lower back pain that originated from two bulging disks. I had tried multiple things to ease the pain, and nothing was working for me. When I came to see Brianna, I was at my wits end and desperate for any relief from the pain. What I got from Peace Within Acupuncture and Brianna was so much more than pain relief. Brianna helped me adjust my dietary tendencies utilizing Chinese Medical nutrition. She introduced me to Dr. Wallach's Youngevity, an actually bio-available line of supplements which helped my body absorb the vitamins and minerals I began supplementing with. Brianna empowered me, supported me, and was the catalyst for the many positive changes I made in my life after meeting her. I cannot recommend her services enough. She offers so much more than acupuncture, which is what makes her so special and unique. She didn't treat my pain. She treated me as an individual, holistically, in body, mind, and spirit and that is why I healed. I am no longer in pain thanks to the changes I have implemented as a result of Brianna's knowledge and advice. Please, if you have never tried acupuncture, go and see what Brianna and Peace Within Acupuncture can do for you. You will absolutely not regret it. read more
