My child never had a problem making friends, a sports team and has attended Catholic High Schools prior to Bishop Kelly. My daughter, a cheerleader said she never thought kids could be so nasty. The staff will do nothing to keep your teenager safe. I guess... Once Upon a Time prior to 2014/2015 this was a great school. In December 2021 almost 2022 this school in my experience has been exactly what I read on the 1&2 star reviews on all the sites that allow reviews. 2016 to current is when the problems started at Bishop Kelly. Wish I read the reviews before paying over $15K to this school. We are new to this school this year in 2021/2022. My child will not be attending in Jan. 2022. This school is a HORRIBLE school. This is not a practicing Catholic School. The school wants your money, especially the ones like my family who don't receive aid. Their very nice up until fees are paid and contract signed. After that, consider yourself lucky if the return an email. They ghost ya!

Initially, my wife wanted to enroll our three year old son in a Montessori preschool. In some ways,…read moreThe Goddard School is the opposite of Montessori: where Montessori stresses free, unstructured, child-led activities, Goddard stresses organized, structured, teacher-led activities. For our son, who is naturally independent and creative, the structure Goddard provides, rather than stifling his independence and creativity, helps him channel it in new, more social and collaborative ways. Sometimes this is difficult for him. But we think it's challenging him to develop skills that a Montessori-type approach might not provide. Plus, the teachers are incredibly well-qualified, the facility is new, clean, beautiful, and very well-managed, and the security and health precautions are advanced and well-applied. The Goddard School and its proprietary curriculum may not be well-suited to fit every child's needs and all familys' budgets, but we feel it's well-suited to our child's needs and well-worth the added expense over some of its competitors. Also, it's good to know that TGS is a franchise, so each individual facility will only be as good as its owner-operator. And the owner-operator at this facility, himself a father, is kind, respectful, organized, efficient, dedicated, detail-oriented, professional, and an excellent manager of both property and personnel. We highly recommend this school to anyone who feels that their child would benefit from this kind of learning environment.

They have a focus on early learning and my son really enjoyed the STEM based lessons. I have no complaints and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We have been doing outdoor/nature schools for almost years now. We took a small break when baby arrived and when we went back to the scholl we found it appeared they closed down. We were so sad and went looking for another when we came across this school we were so excited to start. It was very un organized from the start. I signed my child up paid in full and called them to have a warm conversation and make sure my daughter was in the right class for her. I was assured she was. We never recieved a welcome letter or anything about her first day. We recieved 1 email(auto after payment) of the day, time and name of where the class was. No address no location. Auto email stated wilson spring park so i put that into gps and showed up. We ran into the wrong class but same program. I asked for help being directed to our class. The caregiver made a call and then gave me the phone number so i could call too. These two ladies didnt know anything and were no help aside from the phone number. I called right after she hung up, explaining we found the program but its the wrong class The lady that answered didnt sound confident in getting me to the correct class either so i asked for the address or if someone could share their location. I waited 15min no response from anyone so i got on the maps and started looking for another park titled wilson spring park I finally found one in a run down meighborhood so we drove there We found the class and we were 25m late. I didnt get a text offering directions until 50m after the class had started. we get there and we are asked if were new that we werent on the roster. I told her no we signed up over a month ago, paid in full and called to make sure. I asked the care giver who had her hands full with her own 2 small childeren if my daughter was too old for the class because there was a sprinkle of structure in the first 15m then nothing. My child wandered through the park, everyone individually really as i tried to teach her what she saw and make up a lesson as we go. Personally we can do that ourselfs and my child takes more from our back yard. I got in contact again told them it was very unorganized, we had done many outdoor schools and this is nothing like the previous ones. Thats when i realized u cant charge $250 a child, have moms be the teacher so their kids are free, and meet up in the park and call it outdoor school. Outdoor and nature schools take experience not a A corporate that will launch a website in 3 different states to get people to sign up, its not authentic and what ur looking at on the website didnt even happen here! Their websites are all the same in Idaho, North Carolina & Colorado and if i noticed that first off, i would have never put my child in the corporate cash cow. After all this i did research on why the other closed that we loved and come to find out the grew and changed the name same great staff and location so im here to share with you other moms who have taken the time thus far Its 100% worth it and half the cost. https://www.explorersoutdoorschool.com/ everything u see is local and happened there I even told the lady id pay twice their cost to be apart of explorers outdoor school anyday(eventhough they were half the price) thats how bad this was. Hope you find this helpful from one mama to the next.
