Suzanne has always gone above and beyond to find us the perfect homes to fit our growing family's needs. This year, we stayed at Fancy Nancy, a stunning new build in Pawley's that exceeded our expectations. The home was immaculate and beautifully designed with every amenity you could ask for. The kitchen was a dream--fully stocked with everything from quality cutting knives to a Ninja blender, loads of utensils, cups, bowls, and pots & pans. It made cooking and doing the dishes feel like a breeze! The home had three full bathrooms, which was a major bonus for our family. The master bath was especially impressive with dual sinks and dual shower heads--so convenient for getting ready without feeling cramped. The additional bathrooms were also spacious and perfect for our kids. We can't say enough about how smooth and enjoyable our experience always is with Suzanne and the Tidelife team. Everything is there you need, beach chairs, coffee maker, coffee, sheets, towels and tons of games and things to do. It is truely the best of the beach on a beautiful golf course. The unit and surrounding areas were overrun with cobwebs and spiders. It was unsettling to leave and return to the unit, as the hallways and staircases were filled with webs and spiders that we had to walk through. We resorted to using a broom each time we exited just to avoid being bitten or entangled. Additionally, the carpet was in the hall was in poor condition--filthy, heavily stained, and emitting unpleasant odors. It is evident that the building is not being cleaned on a regular basis, which is especially disappointing given that guests are paying for a comfortable vacation stay. We informed the owners about the dust in the unit and they apologize and refunded the cleaning fee, Also, we informed the owners about the halls and stairs, who acknowledged that this has been an ongoing issue. This level of maintenance and cleanliness is unacceptable and needs to be addressed promptly.

Hidden nicely behind beautiful homes and marsh is one of the nicest beach escapes on the South Carolina strand. This beach is mostly private home owners, so crowds tend not to be an issue. The sand. Let me tell you about the sand. It is so soft. So, so, so soft. I mean, it just caresses your feet and slides right off. The water: Some of the best waves. Not too big, but the crest crashes so innocently on the coast. It is beautiful to see and nice to hear. The pier is traditional. It has the look of the old 1920's piers. Loved it. The homes. I could have picked 3 out of every 4 homes along my walk and used it for a movie. In fact, we came up with a speck for a script just walking and looking at the homes. This is one of the nicest and most refreshing South Carolina beaches. Five stars all the way. Big fan.

We paid in full, signed contracts etc. months ahead. A few days before our arrival date, they cancelled our rental because the owners wanted to use it. They cancelled our rental DURING SPRING BREAK. There were no places available that could accommodate us all-no vrbos, houses, hotels or resorts. Everything that could house us was rented. One of their employees called around only to tell us the same thing we knew...everything was rented, sorry. They gave us our money back, sure. But we were still left with nowhere for us all to stay for the funeral in Pawleys. Look, we used to own vacation property there and I get legally, as an owner, you can choose to use your own property. But cancelling the reservation during high season, last minute when there are no viable alternatives open? That is low. Add in the fact that this was for our dad's funeral? That's horrible. Doc Lachicotte would be rolling over in his grave
