Everything is there you need, beach chairs, coffee maker, coffee, sheets, towels and tons of games and things to do. It is truely the best of the beach on a beautiful golf course. Suzanne has always gone above and beyond to find us the perfect homes to fit our growing family's needs. This year, we stayed at Fancy Nancy, a stunning new build in Pawley's that exceeded our expectations. The home was immaculate and beautifully designed with every amenity you could ask for. The kitchen was a dream--fully stocked with everything from quality cutting knives to a Ninja blender, loads of utensils, cups, bowls, and pots & pans. It made cooking and doing the dishes feel like a breeze! The home had three full bathrooms, which was a major bonus for our family. The master bath was especially impressive with dual sinks and dual shower heads--so convenient for getting ready without feeling cramped. The additional bathrooms were also spacious and perfect for our kids. We can't say enough about how smooth and enjoyable our experience always is with Suzanne and the Tidelife team. Main entrance of resort was beautiful! Security guard (woman) was rude, very difficult to locate…read moreour unit. Once we did it was a huge letdown. Very small outdated room with two queen beds that were hard as rocks, actually harder if that's possible. Bedspread was yucky. Outlet covers were left on the nightstand, shower rod was laying across bathtub, refrigerator was small with broken corner on "handle", microwave was decent, there were two o hectares laying next to microwave that were out of place. OH- the Vizio TV was mounted on the wall and a cable box was on the dresser below along with a DVD player that had a dvd laying across the top that was titled "Survive the night" hmmm ? Shall we stay or get out of dodge??? Husband says we stay. Damn it. A little afraid to pull back the sheets, not sure what I'll find. Luckily-- no bedbugs or other creatures. We both woke up with our backs hurting from the horrible beds. Would have like coffees, but none was provided like the papers said there would be. Glad we were only staying two nights. For the cheap money I guess we got what we paid for.

When we arrived to our condo, it had not been cleaned from the last group of people. We contacted Turnkey again and they were awful. But No one from the resort ever came to clean our room so we had to clean it ourself. Not the way to start our vacation! Won't stay here again. Litchfield By the Sea is WAY better.

This is a review of Peace Vacations (Peace). Peace rents vacation accommodations in coastal areas…read morelike Georgetown, SC. My wife and I booked an oceanfront accommodation through Peace in March 2025. The property is in a gated community known as Debordieu. The name of the property is "It'll Dieu." Allow me to pause here to understate unequivocally that the place Peace rented us was anything but peaceful. Our stay at It'll Dieu was to begin on November 5 and end November 19, 2025. We paid Peace $10,146.93. That works out to $724.78 per day. We stayed 5 days before we were forced to leave. On a Friday, the 3rd day of our vacation, a crane and an impact pile driver began operation on a lot directly beside our rental. The noise and vibration were so shocking that we had no choice but to leave for the day. We returned that day as the pile driving crew was preparing to leave. And since they were not planning to work on Saturday or Sunday but resume work on Monday, we left Monday morning. Our choice was to leave or stay and risk permanent injury. At this point, I might indicate that my work background includes 14+ years with our state's OSHA. So, while not an expert on noise, I knew that staying in It'll Dieu would likely endanger our health. A mini-course here on the dangers of noise created by pile drivers might help you understand our situation at It'll Dieu. Noise is measured by a dBA standard. It's a bit technical but dBA stands for "A-weighted decibels." Essentially, dBA is an industry standard for measuring noise registered by the human ear. Pile drivers are uniquely noisy in the construction world. I estimated that piles were driven at 30 or less feet from our living area. Americanpiledriving.com says, "Based on a standard estimate of 95 dBA at 50 feet, you can expect around 99 dBA at 30 feet." OSHA requires properly fitted hearing protectors at 85 dBA. The noise impact pile drivers cause can easily top 120 dBA. The National Institute on Deafness recommends limiting exposure to an average of 70 dBA to prevent hearing loss. OSHA, CDC, and NIH (National Institute of Health) all agree that loud sounds can damage your hearing even if the noise is only for a brief time. In fact, the thing that makes impact pile drivers so dangerous is that the noise is "not" continuous. According to Brown University, impulse (short/loud) sounds, precisely like impact pile drivers generate, can be more damaging than sustained sounds. Pile drivers can easily cause hearing loss. And any hearing loss is permanent in that it is irreparable. The impact noise inside It'll Dieu was so violent that the entire house vibrated. With every impact, our nervous system went off the chart. I told Peace's client services manager that on the phone and in writing through her email. Still, with that knowledge, Peace declined to refund a pro-rated portion of our money or offer us an alternative accommodation. Yet Peace's rental agreement plainly states that Peace must refund our money or offer alternative accommodations in situations like ours. Peace claims that in the rental agreement I signed away a right to contest a construction nuisance. But a nuisance and threat of permanent injury are different. How many people would sign away a right to contest a health-threatening situation? Peace had 8 months - March, when we booked till November, when we arrived - to pick up the phone and call the HOA to determine whether there would be construction. Finally, Peace says It'll Dieu owners are responsible for refunds. But we paid our money to Peace. We think Peace valued retaining our dollars more than protecting our health. What do you think?

We checked into a beach rental on Saturday and found a bat in the bedroom that same evening. My…read morewife and 4 year old were in the room at the time and I was in the bathroom when the bat started flying above them. We contacted Peace vacations and they didn't do anything about it until Monday when they sent someone to check it out (Maintenance guy). He didn't even come in the house since everyone was still sleeping (from barely sleeping the night prior) and we were told by Peace that they were going to send a Exotic animal control later. They did send someone to clean the room where we initially found the bat, however that is it. No compensation or support the two nights that we didn't use that room or the room on the floor above where the bat was flying around. Some of the folks slept in the floor and couch those two nights. We requested compensation for the two nights - Saturday and Sunday - and was told by Peace that they will request it and ask the owners for approval. We never heard back about this. What was odd is that we were offered at one point in time to pack up and get a refund back (which you would think required owners approval also). We called them numerous times and even visited the office. Their response often times took days and hours to respond. This is a crazy experience and case of bad customer service. They could care less if the bat was rabid or not or our safety.

We paid in full, signed contracts etc. months ahead. A few days before our arrival date, they cancelled our rental because the owners wanted to use it. They cancelled our rental DURING SPRING BREAK. There were no places available that could accommodate us all-no vrbos, houses, hotels or resorts. Everything that could house us was rented. One of their employees called around only to tell us the same thing we knew...everything was rented, sorry. They gave us our money back, sure. But we were still left with nowhere for us all to stay for the funeral in Pawleys. Look, we used to own vacation property there and I get legally, as an owner, you can choose to use your own property. But cancelling the reservation during high season, last minute when there are no viable alternatives open? That is low. Add in the fact that this was for our dad's funeral? That's horrible.
