Co op allowed me to maintain some control (parents volunteer their time in class) and learn much more than I thought possible from my peers and from the teachers. It was a real eye opener for me. My son, a first grader, is improving across all measured skill sets and he TRULY ENJOYS being at school. I could write more and probably will once my thought are organized. I am not an educator but simply a proud parent and I am so pleased to see the level of the curriculum even at the elementary stage. The kids are tasked with complex art projects and reading assignments and the specialists have comprehensive teaching tools. My oldest being one of the "Covid" era kids didn't have any remote learning elements so I can't speak to that but I do know the school is incorporating technology skills appropriate to their age.

He has totally thrived in the environment, with past and current teachers, and we've seen such a difference in his ability to express himself, talk through his feelings, and be curious. We even had to go to the ER a month or so back, and while he was scared we asked him to do his big breaths (learned at Cove), he did, and it helped him get through. We were amazed! The parent community at the school is great too. We've met lots of other engaged, wonderful parents that are just great to see at pick up/drop off or even do play dates with. We're so happy we enrolled our toddler here and have plans to enroll our youngest when he gets old enough.

I'm so amazed at how she's able to handle curriculum for different levels and know all the kids by their 1st names. She also noticed that my 2nd son was advanced for his age and, along with a few other 4 year olds, she made advanced lessons just for them. My son loved it cuz he felt more challenged and up till now (he's in 4th grade already) still remembers those lessons he learned from Kany and says those were harder than 2nd grade in public school, but it was more fun! I brought my 3rd child there who just graduated pre school this past spring as well and he loved Kany and all his teachers.
