Parents, if you are passionate about the safety, health, and nurturing of your precious little one, STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACILITY. My son was enrolled in Ms. Madison's toddler classroom when he was 12 months (1-2yr olds) and received multiple incident reports over a period of 4 weeks. All but one injury he sustained were head injuries above the neck. He also came home with multiple undocumented injuries. I received reports that he fell from a chair at the table and bumped his head (why was he not secured properly in his chair) or he fell while walking and his teeth cut thru his lip (twice my sweet baby boy came home with swollen, bleeding lacerations to his lip), also received reports that he was bitten multiple times, once to the eye, and again to the arm). I pulled my son from this facility after multiple injuries. I suspected neglect and or abuse because the injuries were so frequent (at times occurring on consecutive days) and reported his injuries to state licensing and Social services. I also met with Kindercare's district manger Kathy, the center director Heidi, and the lead teacher Madison who all suggested this is the standard of care for their facility. Heidi, the center director was rude, careless, and unapologetic. She explained that Kindercare is a "for profit" organization and the facility will not hire additional help for the classroom. Then she went on to explain that they aren't going to follow my child around the classroom to ensure his safety because they have too may other children to attend as well. Kindercare does not operate with the appropriate staff to student ratios and there is no supervision. PLEASE CHECK THEIR COMPLAINT HISTORY @ http://www.del.wa.gov/ under Child Care Check. You will find they are in violation of appropriate state mandated ratios, they left a child on the playground unattended (forgot about the child) just last month while everyone else went in for lunch. You will find discipline complaints, supervision complaints, and much more. There were also older kids in this classroom that should have moved up to the next room but did not. Please go to Glassdoor.com and see what employees are saying about Kindercare, Its the worse place you can send your most precious gift, your child. I am taking the time to write this review to save other children from such a traumatic experience. PLEASE RESEARCH THE COMPLAINTS via the resources provided. Save your child!!! read more
