Went to West Coast Gardens since I was on the hunt for a String of Hearts plant in hanging basket…read more-- someone told me that they had some in stock. Admittedly, going to WCG is quite a drive for me but it was well-worth it. They have a lot of parking spots available. They provide sanitizers for hands and carts. I've been to several garden centers and I must say that WCG has the nicest layout and ambience. Plants were neatly organized and displayed plus it was not cluttered at all. Also, it had a light and airy feel to it where I didn't feel overwhelmed with a mishmash of plants and products Plants are healthy and reasonably priced -- I was able to get a basket of String of Hearts, Tradescantia Nanouk and Satin Pothos. So happy that they had a wide selection of tropical plants, pots and gardening supplies available that made my trek to West Coast Gardens worthwhile. For the plant junkies out there, they also have a rewards program -- if you purchase (cumulative), if I remember correctly, $500 in value you get an equivalent of $10 to use in store.

Wen u enter u either start from ur left or right and you will see shops lined up from hot sauces , garden decorations, some clothing and home decor, birds nest or feeders, exclusive export import items of stone, wood or finest fabric. I wish i had more time to explore the whole store but i reached there at 5:45 wen they were about to close at 6:00 pm I m sure regular hours are different but just because of the current covid situation it closes at 5 pm. No doubt its little on expensive side with pots and other stuff but plants might be same price as other nurseries. They do have tonns of variety to choose from and have abundance of all sorts of plants, flowers and herbs both indoor n outdoor.

As I was wandering around their yard I saw the most beautiful emerald cedars. We decided right there on the spot to have them deliver and plant 9 of them in our backyard . Tony and Paul were on time and had the job completed in 45 minutes. They even topped up the flower bed with fresh topsoil, and swept up the spillage in the driveway. Very pleasant staff, very helpful, and nice, wide aisles to accommodate the excellent giant carts. Prices reasonable - unlike rapacious Art Knapp charging $4.49 for a twee pot of petunias, and that was last year. Probably $6 this year! Best of all, they respond to email inquiries right away so that if they haven't got it, you can move on. B.C. retailers are so NOT service-oriented. If they're in trouble we sure know why. Not one of the garden centres that eventually deigned to tell me they didn't have the plant I was looking for, offered to find and special order one for me.
