You can tell Michelle enjoys glass blowing and that passion makes the class even better. Quinn was very helpful and answered a lot of questions I had about glass blowing. My only complaint regarding the classes is that the children's classes are offered primarily in the summer. We homeschool, and we would love to have access to year-round children's classes. Edited to add: My husband and daughter took a parent-child ceramics class at River Oaks when my daughter was about 2 1/2 years old. She's now 6 1/2 - to my knowledge, they've yet to do another class like that (with younger children). I really wish they'd consider starting parent-child classes again. Both my daughter and husband had a blast and still speak fondly of the time they spent together there.

(The tree of life I'm talking about is on his site - mine is just lighter, as it is limestone.) Wesley sent photos of the work as it progressed so I was always aware of where we were at and the progression of my piece. He was an absolute delight to work with - I'm in California, but he wrapped the piece really well and shipped it to me. It arrived in perfect condition and looks just beautiful! In the piece, he carved 6 hearts - one for each of my family members, so it has a lot of sentimental value as well as being just spectacular! I get compliments every time someone sees it. I recommend Wesley very highly - trust me, you won't be disappointed!
