Adorable little coffee shop with lots of offerings, both reading material and things to buy, if you are into fantasy and dragons. We went for the coffee. Lots of space inside for a coffee shop. Both our lattes were served in a reasonable amount of time, considering there was only one barista behind the counter on this Saturday morning. Very few breakfast offerings that weren't primarily sugar - I only saw one - so we skipped breakfast and settled for coffee. Pricing was a bit high for the coffee, but I'm sure so is the rent. We'd return, because in spite of the price, the coffee is good. read more

The dragon is a fun and unique touch, but unfortunately the coffee disappoints. My "cold brew" was served with 5-7 melting ice cubes at the top which can only mean one thing... that was hot coffee poured over ice, y'all. Stopped for coffee mid morning before setting out to explore Natchitoches. The cafe is charming but some of the furniture could use some refurbishing - maybe new springs in the couch. There were two young women running the coffee bar. There were four people ahead of us, but it didn't seem like anyone was in a big hurry. One took orders verbally and the other made the drinks. They did not write down orders or names attached to the orders. My friend got a frozen honey iced coffee. She said that it was very good, but it took 15 minutes to make it. I ordered regular coffee with cream and no cal sweetener. Told that they were brewing fresh coffee - no problem. One server started calling out orders, but nobody was picking them up. Guess I am accustomed to other coffee shops that call your name when your drink is ready. Don't know what was happening. When I checked, I was told that my coffee had cream and sugar. When I questioned the sweetener, the lady said that my coffee just had cream and that the sweetener (no calorie) was on a side table. I added the sweetener- oh oh. It was too sweet because she had added sugar. I really think that I got the wrong order. I was afraid to say anything because the two ladies must have been having a bad day and were very tense and testy. I have decided that I am going to pray for them. read more

My husband and I stopped here during a rainstorm on a long road trip. I chose the place because it was advertised as dog-friendly. I would never have guessed they would allow my dogs right inside the dining room. I truly appreciated this hospitality, especially since we had to stay a while due to the heavy storm. We got a couple of pastries. I got a tea and my husband a coffee. Everything was good. The decor and atmosphere reminded me of music or story time in elementary school from decades ago in an age prior to electronics, with a vintage spinet, colorful paintings, and a plethora of story books to browse. Cute little shop, but we ordered Cafe Au Lait and none of them tasted like they had coffee in them. It was, at best, hot water and foam. All 3 went in the trash. The other 2 ordered cold brews and one was iced coffee and the other was all milk. They punted and mixed them. Maybe another time they will get their act together. read more

Very lovely little coffee and tea place! The aesthetic was created with the bookshelves of old books and library feel. I got an iced tea and it was very good! Not bitter and had a great flavor. Their menu has a wide variety of drinks (wish I would have gotten a picture). The prices were also very reasonable for the different handcrafted drinks. Such a unique little coffee shop! From a piano (we were told we could play), to old novels for sale, to a giant dragon statue. We had a plain latte and a cafe mocha. Both were great! The barista was sweet as well. read more

Food and drinks are very good, especially the lemon roll. Taro boba tea was sweeter than I was expecting but that's how I like it so it was ok! Returned the next day and got a iced passionfruit-orange tea with popping boba and the cream cheese bacon buns. The cashier recommended I add passion fruit lobbing boba as the blueberry was out, and it was so good! read more

What a delightful place! We stopped for lattes and a scone in the afternoon and ate it outside while we watched the river go by. The store itself is welcoming and the batista thanked us profusely for stopping in ( it was 2pm on a Thursday, so not many people around). We had the cinnamon white chocolate scone, and it was to die for! Definitely give it a try! read more

I've tried many different drinks here and they have all been great! Best coffee shop in Natchitoches for sure. The decor is so unique and they always have something cool on the tv. I was really excited about trying this coffee shop. We went to the river front on Saturday. Front street was blocked off became of the Christmas festivities. We parked and walked to the coffee shop. My wife and I drove 2 hours to have coffee at this location. We went inside and there were about 15 people in the shop. There was no one in line to order. It appeared there were about 5 people waiting for their order. The barista working said she wasn't going to take any orders until she had made the orders she had taken. I realize that the shop may have been understaffed for the day. The virus may have caused an understaffing issue. The barista should have taken the order and we would have gladly waited and enjoyed the bustle of a coffee shop. However the terse greeting we received and the deal with it attitude. It was worth our walk down the river front to get coffee at their competitor. I hope we can enjoy a fine cup here next time and we can update our review. I hope someone reads this and it helps to make this a better place on the river front. read more

Worst coffee shop experience ever. If there was a zero star I would give it. I was in a hurry and just ordered two cups of coffee and espresso. 20 minutes after being in the shop, the two sloth speed baristas told me there was no more coffee but I had already paid and had to leave with half my drink order and didn't have time to get money back. Horrible service. read more
