My roommate and I have been using PD Walks every day for almost two years. We could not work without them. The walker comes every day around lunch time, and they come for evening walks during quarter-end when my roommate and I have to work late. Over the two years, we've had the same few walkers consistently, but if the schedule changes and a new walker does need to be introduced, Elena and Jason slowly introduce the new walker to my dogs instead of sending a stranger to the house. They pet-sitted for us while we were out of town for Christmas. I made that request on very short notice, and PD Walks was extremely accommodating. I requested four days of pet-sitting, they said yes, and took it from there while I focused on other things. One of our dogs is not happy with strangers in her house, and she doesn't mind letting people know it. Elena and Jason have been unbelievably patient with her. Anyone else would have seen our dog's reaction, and would have refused to deal with her. After a little time and lots of patience, I started getting pictures of them giving my dog belly rubs, and when I work from home I see her run to meet the walkers to get her belly rub, her walks, and her treats. The change in her behavior is incredible. Our other dog has extreme storm anxiety, so PD Walks tries to accommodate for that every single time that it rains. They try to come a little earlier than usual or push us back a little later in the schedule in order for our dog to have clear skies to walk under. If the rain just won't let up, they still try to walk her but if she's not interested they don't force her. Our request was to not force her outside if she is scared, and they have completely honored that request. Although, they genuinely care about each dog's happiness and well-being, so they would never do anything that would frighten or make any dog uncomfortable. My roommate and my two dogs and I are very lucky to have PD Walks helping us out with our busy lives. We'll be using them indefinitely. read more

After researching multiple options we contacted Elena at PD Walks. We set up a meeting for her to meet our dogs and discuss their personalities. From the initial intake call with Elena it was clear to me this is not just a business for her, but a passion and love to help serve and support pet owners and our four-legged friends. My 2.5 year old Havanese Levi was suffering from depression and I wasn't quite sure what to do. I cannot say enough good things about Elena, Jason, Nick and the PDwalks team! They are professional, reliable, trustworthy, and most importantly, loving and caring. My two pups have participated in their mobile doggy daycare program for three years now, and we truly consider the PDwalks team part of our extended family because they treat our pups like part of theirs. One of my pups is particularly shy and nervous around strangers but he lights up whenever he sees Elena and her team. Elena also keeps the pups for us when we go out of town, and I can rest easy knowing that they're in a loving home (she even lets them snuggle up on her couch and bed!) rather than in an overcrowded boarding facility. They are also incredibly flexible and eager to help; when I needed to rush to the vet with one of my pups for a small emergency, PDwalks dropped everything to meet me near the vet's office to take care of my other pup (who has separation anxiety if left alone) so that I could be with my sick pup. PD Walks is by far the best business for customer service with which I have ever worked! This goes for any type of business. From the start, they were accommodating and encouraging despite a less than ideal situation for getting started and meeting my dog. I had a nice conversation on the phone with Elena. My dog is very sweet, but he can be particular until he gets to know people. This was no issue at all for PD Walks. Joshua came by and was extremely helpful in making this work and slowly befriending him. Since that time, it has been smooth sailing and my dog absolutely loves having someone to walk him during the day. My dog gets a walk every day from them during the week. I get a wonderful picture and update. It is the best part of my day. PD Walks even offers dogsitting, which I have also used. This is also ouststanding. We recently used pdWalks' (Ray) services for the first time and was extremely satisfied. We hired them for a vacation watch which included walking our 2 dogs 2-3 time a day, feeding and giving treats and meds. Ray also stayed overnight at our house to keep the dogs company and watch over things while we were away. Ray kindly brought in the mail and newspapers as well as put out the trash bins for pickup. During his stay Ray sent me regular updates and pics on how the dogs were doing and spent snuggle time with them on the sofa. He left our home exactly as we had; he laundered and folded his bed sheets, swept and made sure all was in order before we returned. pdWalks more than delivered on their promises which gave us great peace of mind during our trip. PDWalks and Elena are the best possible hands you can put your furry friend in. They have been caring for my dog for three years now and I can't imagine life without them. My job frequently requires last minute things that keep me from home and Elena never lets my dog be stuck at home alone. Most recently I had to go to Europe for three months and she kept both my dog and cat the entire time. Knowing how much I missed them she sent frequent updates and photos without my having to ask and even took the dog to the vet when he had an upset tummy (bonus: my vet knows her because of how many pets she cares for so she also frequently picks him up from the vet for me). PD Walks has been a complete Godsend! I relocated to Houston about 8 months ago for work and didn't know anyone here. My job is extremely stressful and time consuming and I really worried about my fur baby being able to get walked everyday since I no longer could. It has eliminated so much anxiety from my day knowing that she is well taken care of. Elena will send you texts of when the walker is on the way, when they arrive, a pic of your baby on their walk, and then a brief recap of how your pup did (you know, doggy business). I have 2 Shelties that are like my children. They have never been boarded when I go out of town. I had issues with my last dog walker and felt I needed a more reliable company when I go out of town. 2 friends recommended Elena from PD Walks. I interviewed her and she asked me great questions. I just returned after 5 days and was so pleased with their service. Twice a day I deceived messages on their arrival, photos of my dogs, a bathroom and food report. On top of that they turned on lights, gave my dogs their medicine, took the garbage out to the street on collection day and brought in papers. I returned to two happy and healthy pups! Can't recommend Elena and her team enough. FYI I do have a dog door that my dogs use to go to the back yard at will. It is very nice but the combo is the best! read more

Finding PDwalks has been such a blessing to our family! Elena truly loves dogs and her work and it shows in the level of care she provides to our dog Leroy. She makes us feel as if Leroy is her own and goes above and beyond in providing detailed updates while we are away (reports, text messages, pictures, videos, etc.). I feel 100 percent confident to call her up on any occasion to ask about leaving him with her. And our dog loves her right back! We so loved pupdaddywalkers and our Elena!! She and her staff took such good care of our cat Albert. They would check on him once to twice a day. They would turn the tv on for him so he would hear voices during the day..send us pictures and videos of him almost daily. They always leave a sheet with their times that they have visited and what they did. They would even leave notes on which day he seemed happy or melancholy. We both travelled a lot for our jobs and Elena was a godsend for us and Albert. She took care of many of the pets in our apartment complex but always made the animals and their owners feel like she was only there for them. I have been using PD Walks for close to three years now. My schedule is erratic and I often have to work holidays, but Elena and her team are able to take care of my dog without a problem. Because of work emergencies, I sometimes call them to let my dog out with little notice or take him to "camp", they have been able to do this without a problem. They keep a detailed logbook of when the walker arrives and what my dog does during the visit. They also send text messages when they are on their way and when they arrive at the house. Fantastic service! I highly recommend them. My sister and I recently traveled together. She flew in from out of town and also left her pet in the care of a sitter. Our experiences could not have been any more different. PD Walks was sending me en route, arrival and update texts along with pics everyday. We have a large male german shepherd that became very protective around strangers when our first child was born. We reached out to PD Walks to increase his exercise and socialization, and they have been an absolute lifesaver. I stongly recommend PDwalks! I used the service for 2 months while I was recovering from a broken leg and like the other reviews state, the walkers are dependable, on time, patient and were very sweet with my dog. PDwalks worked with me when a doctor's appointment ran late and rescheduled my walk to later in the afternoon. I like, also, that this is a local business and most of the walkers are college kids earning extra money. Elena, the owner, is very responsive and appreciative. PDWalks has been the biggest blessing of all time! My husband and I are in the medical field and work late hours. Elena and Jason take care of our baby as if he were their own. PDWalks was a Godsend when we landed in Houston due to a medical emergency (heart transplant) knowing no one here and having a teacup poodle that had never been boarded and disliking almost everyone. That was 2 years ago. Since then Mini has spent a lot of time with Elena, who she has always loved. She has become more socialized since PDWalks has come into her life. Elena's care of Mini allows us to follow our Granddaughter as she pursues her dream in speedskating. We now easily can travel to her competitions knowing Mini is well cared for and loved.
