They parked on street invisible from the house, never rang the bell, and left claiming we weren't home. But worse were several blatant lies. They told me the reason they could not redeliver the next week before Christmas was because the seller had not confirmed the redelivery for 9 days (they wanted to charge him $75 for missed delivery). Seller forwards me a string of internal emails that show that he responded immediately after the botched attempt. They could have done whatever it took to make delivery happen before Christmas, but they chose not to--I had no gift for my husband on Christmas Day because they were not willing to take responsibility for poor management and chose to lie about it instead.

They are the only delivery service that insists on leaving packages in my front step - barely - two I found on the front sidewalk. I have had 5 packages stolen off my front step since September and every one was a FedEx package. Guess how many packages I've had stolen from my back deck in 27 years of living here? That's right zero. I have filed claims and apparently even though they are a shipping company no package is their responsibility. Their incompetence is infuriating.

I said how I couldn't take 2 hours off work but I work 20 mins away, so if the drivers could call I could head that way. She replies that "the guys should be calling momentarily, we do not provide a window." So I compromise and ask for a 10 min window. She again texts "Your arrival is 9:30 - 11:30 in the text above. Let me know if you do not have someone ready to receive". So I call and get a female dispatch (Arriane / Kristina something) and state how I'm confused that if the drivers call when they're on the way how are they not able to tell how far out they are? She snaps at me "DON'T TELL US HOW TO DO OUR JOB". Incredibly rude, disrespectful, and absolutely unprofessional. The drivers then arrive, without a phone call. So apparently someone DOES need to tell them how to do their job. Btw- no "white glove" service as stated by Satvaa. No paper boots, didn't even bother wiping their feet on the multiple door mats. Just tracked dirt all through the house as apparently it's the customers responsibility to lay down plastic. Unbelievable.... Hope you never have to ever work with them. You've been warned.

However, moving my items to a storage unit was an easy, enjoyable process. When I asked about the fee discrepancy, the answer was "tax". I think better communication before the fact would have solved these issues. If you use them bear in mind your items may be transported with others' and this could result in not enough space in truck. Make sure you make an accurate inventory before you call. Lessons from my experience. I still owe them $5.
