I only got as far as getting a quote for a minor repair, to fix a couple of scratches that appeared after a visit to Walmart. I found PDM online and saw that have mostly positive reviews. Some people have had good experiences with them. Based on the packed parking lot their business is booming, which is usually a good sign. PDM offers a free quote online by submitting information, pictures and a video of the damage. But I was in the area and decided to stop by just to see if someone could give me a ballpark figure of cost and repair time to have an idea of how to prepare and schedule a repair. The young lady at the reception area was cute, but could not tell me anything helpful except that an in person estimate would cost me $50. So I thanked her for that and opted to go with the online estimate. From the website you request the online estimate tool and it sends a link to your phone. Use the link to access the online estimate app. The app does not download to your phone; you just access it from your phone as it will guide you in taking pictures and video they need. A picture is worth a thousand words. Have your car make, model, year, and VIN number handy as that helps them to identify specific paint colors and other necessary information. I found a couple other competitors that also offer online estimates and got quotes from all of them. All of the businesses which provided me quotes have excellent reviews and look professional as far as I can tell. PDM's estimate was $1,300.00, over twice the cost of any of the others (who all came below $600). Most of the cost is labor. I understand some difference in price, but that is ridiculous. It's like choosing between two great quality name brand products, and the only difference is one has a designer couture name, so it sells for 220% more. So suffice it to say I will choose another option. If your insurance is going to pay repairs, perhaps it may be an option for you (depending on your deductible), but it was not for me. I used this company online estimate. I submitted pictures of the repairs that I needed and indicated I was paying cash. I was not using my insurance. After a few days, I did not get a response. I contacted them by phone asking for the estimate. A few days later, I was given an estimate and I agreed over the phone to the amount. I was told to bring the vehicle by for more pictures so they could make sure the estimate was accurate. I brought the vehicle by and a gentleman named Mark took detailed pictures and said he would be sending me an updated estimate by the end of the day. Did not get estimate. One week later I reached out again asking for my estimate and I was told I'd have it by the end of the day. Did not get estimate. Based on other reviews I've read..this company charges almost double the other repair companies in the area are charging. It seems to me this company would rather do insurance claims. When my wife's car was run into by a careless driver, our insurance provider sent us to PDM Collision Repair Center to get it repaired. Boy, was that a mistake. What should have been about $1000 repair, ended up costing close to $3000. What should have taken a few months to fix, actually took a few months. When it was finally returned to us, there were parts from the car that were missing, wires had been exposed and cut and car accessories were taken. We went back and spoke to the supervisor and informed him of how the car was left and he said he would reorder the parts that were missing, install them, and fix the exposed cut wires. It's been close to a year and those problems have yet to be repaired or replaced. I contacted my insurance provider and informed them of the problems with my car and the fact that I had spoken with PDM, what was discussed, and that they were going to address their problems, but still the issues have not been resolved. So unless you don't mind being without a car and having your car returned incomplete, give the a try. As for me? I sure won't be going back nor recommending them. read more

Sooooooo.... wow! Came in from out of town for the weekend and during my ride over, there was a little (actually huge) accident in my back seat from my dog. In his 6 years he's never had an accident but he decided to do it in his first ride in my new car, and on white leather seats. Sooo I panicked when I arrived late at night and the only remedies I could find online were diy. I'm pretty sure mixing the different household products made the stain even worse by turning it orange. Any way, found these guys on Yelp and yep, the stain was already too bad that they could only dye the leather to fix it. Believe me I was terrified but something about this place made it not so overwhelming to leave my car so they could do their magic. And magic is what they did. Cray! Please don't fall for their nice, sweet demeanor. They will promise you the stars and the heavens. The true is they will deliver, but weeks later. And they blame it on everything else but themselves. I take my vehicle to get half the bumper replaced, only half the bumper. 16 days later and they still can't return my vehicle. 1st they order the wrong color, then they were missing some clips, then the guy didnt work that day, then something else happened. It is a never ending tell with them they blame everything else. Their prices may be reasonable, but if you are renting a car while your vehicle is in the shop, they will be the most expensive on the long run because you've dished out so much money on rentals. Don't be fooled by their easy manner, friendly, understanding demeanor. They're very nice until your vehicle is in their grasp, then they will never release it. Never. And forget about updates, if you want to know anything, you have to call them on a daily basis. read more

I had my auto towed here on Progressive's recommendation. There was a coverage issue with insurance - not their fault, but I received very little communication regarding the problem. After having my vehicle for 2+ weeks I get a call from a sister business saying that they had my vehicle and wanted to sell me a separate service (wheel resurfacing). Two days later I get a cal saying my vehicle has been ready for two weeks?!? I show up to get my vehicle 2 hours after that call, and 5.5 hours before their closing time only to see that my car was not ready. This business is a proper clown show. read more

I majorly dented the rim on my car when I ran over a huge pothole. I thought I would need to purchase a whole new wheel. These guys were great. They repaired my wheel and left it in great condition. Paint dents and more painted a wheel that my wife curbed and they did a great job! The wheel looked brand new. The place is pricey, I paid $100 for one wheel but the quality of work is amazing. The staff is also very nice and helpful. I saw some of the cars they had painted and they looked absolutely great. They did not pay attention to my concerns regarding the issues I had with my engine. My vehicle had flood damage and they only fixed the inside and not anything els. Please do not bother taking your car here they charge way to much. For washing the carpet and fixing a window they charged me 1,500 dollars. If I could give this shop no stars I would!! Not only did it take a month and a half to receive my car, because they the parts they received were "broken" TWICE. It was always one thing or another! Oh, but get this, THEY MESSED UP MY CAR EVEN MORE. They actually broke a camber bolt, which messed up my alignment, which resulted in me having to get new tires. Therefore, I spent close to $600 more after I had already paid $750. I will of course fight this with my insurance, but it has been so inconvenient from the moment I left my car. Of course, they day I dropped it off, they seemed very nice, but every time I called to get an update, NO ANSWER. I had to go in person TWICE because they would not answer me.
