The product did not arrive in retail packaging so it was really tough to know which was what. I had to take everything back to the showroom and my rep set down and wrote on each and every single piece what it was. Turned out that I've ended up ordering a few things wrong and needed to return them...Now, returning items is even a bigger headache..,you have to get a shipping label from them and start shipping different things back to their different locations. That was not acceptable to me so I returned the product back to the showroom and ask my rep to take care of the returns for me. It took over 3 weeks for me to receive the refunds which was pretty upsetting. In the meantime, I've checked with a different national distributor the prices on everything I've purchased and it turned out that I've paid about $2000 too much in comparison to what it would have cost me had I've purchased the same product from them. Needless to say: Very bad system, extremely over priced, and I will not be buying here again.

STOP! YOUR SEARCH IS OVER. THIS IS THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ!…read more I'm pretty thorough when researching and getting quotes when I have a new project I want to do. This time around I wanted a new bathroom and complete overhaul of our ceilings. I received over 10 quotes. I selected 1Stop because they have a showroom and Mr Dale was a good guy to deal with. He was honest, straightforward, and was helpful throughout the whole process. They aren't the cheapest nor the most expensive but the value for what you get is definitely there. Pros - Things very important to me. 1. They show up on time and on schedule every single day. 7:59am every single work day. It was amazing. 2. Trustworthy - I felt comfortable leaving them at my home knowing they clean up after themselves and take care of your things. 3. They finish the job and really want you to be happy & earn your future business. 4. Mr Dale/Mike/Isa and the rest of the crew are just overall awesome to deal with. You can tell they are great people who has pride at what they do and will go above and beyond. Cons - I honestly couldn't come up with one and I thought about it hard. I have a lot of experience dealing with craigslist handymen lol all the way to large company contractors - I really couldn't come up with one reason why not to go with these guys. Til next time Peter

Trustworthy, on time, detail oriented.

Overall, as a one-time experience, it was fun and exciting for me. That said, after reading the reviews below, I have to agree w/many of them. Cozy Meals did mentioned that the class would be four people per group, but in reality, we were packed elbow-to-elbow around the cooking table and barely got to do much hands-on cooking. Still, I had a great time. The setup was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful (Chefs runners). Our puff pastry dough didn't want to cooperate, it had been left out too long and became too warm, so we struggled rolling it big enough to wrap the beef properly. Even so, the final dish was still delicious. Unfortunately, we did leave hungry still. Extra star for the easy parking and its location. The first two hours are free, w/ additional hours at $2. Sur La Table is located inside a mall, with plenty of options to grab a snack or drink after class and there's even a Costco within walking distance! Ps. Please wash the aprons. I'm not sure how many classes were held before our 4 pm session, but ours was noticeably dirty.

We joined the Essentials: Mexican Flavors night and learned how to make so many amazing dishes. We made a Spicy Daisy (a virgin jalapeño margarita), corn and poblano tamales with pasilla sauce, fresh handmade corn tortillas, birria tacos, and even a rich chocolate ancho chili cake for dessert. We were also taught how to prepare tamasa from scratch. Honestly, it was mostly my daughter doing all the cooking while I listened and admired her skills Chef Zach led the class and was so helpful, along with two assistants who were constantly checking on everyone and guiding us through each step. You're grouped in teams of four, ingredients are prepped for you, and they walk you through everything. Just be ready to set aside 2-3 hours -- it's a full experience. The class costs under $100, which is totally worth it because you get to enjoy (and bring home) everything you make. Such a fun, hands-on experience. Highly recommend for a unique date or bonding time. Happy cooking!

Olivier listened to our ideas, added his own design suggestions & came up with a design that transformed our Kitchen. We also had a bespoke cabinet made for a niche in our Family room that made good use of space, & again transformed that area. As we had to complete the demo & instal within an 8 week time frame, we went for US made cabinets, which were made & installed on time & of good quality, eg solid wood & dovetail joints. We also used A1 for flooring for the complete house, again this work was coordinated & carried out at the same time as the Kitchen renovation. The trades that A1 use are professional, friendly, turn up when planned & always leave the work area clean & tidy. Our daughter, having seen the results of our renovation is now discussing her own planned kitchen renovation with Olivier. Our next project is to renovate 2 bathrooms where we will again use Olivier & his team (including obviously Beanz) again!

Gus, my guy, looks at me and basically says, "hold my beer," then disappears into the back for a solid 10 minutes like a plumbing wizard entering the spell library. While I'm waiting, I start wandering the aisles and accidentally pass the toilet section. Suddenly... the toilet lids start opening. On their own. No warning. Just a row of toilets waking up like I triggered some kind of porcelain Jurassic Park. I don't know if these are the same Japanese toilets from South Park, but I immediately understood why people talk about them like they're luxury vehicles. I half expected one to greet me with: "Welcome back, sir. Your throne is ready." Unlike the South Park episode, no one handed me champagne and the toilet didn't start playing music, which honestly felt like a missed opportunity... then again, maybe the champagne only comes after your first test run. Anyway, back to my story. Gus reappears from the back holding a single cartridge and goes, "This one should work." I take it home, pop it in, and just like that... the tub stops leaking. Gus came in CLUTCH. Some heroes wear capes. Some heroes disappear into the plumbing aisle for 10 minutes and come back with the exact $35 dollar piece that saves your sanity.

This time i've put an order in for hunters and door knobs which I usually get in a week to two weeks. It's been one month and the hinges are not in still and no one bothers to look into it. The man in the stores tells me to go to the back room for pick ups and while i'm finding all this out about my order she says pick ups 9-3pm and it's 4pm. So, why did you bother sending me back there to talk to her except at least I found out they bother check on delayed orders to update you. Not louie i'm waiting to finish my house or anything and could use an update. Regarding customer service: the female I was directed to for service write notes in a jumbled up notebook that was unorganized it was crazy. I asked her to price out two faucets for my kitchen and she never bothered to send me the email with that info. Then I went it again thinking oh well minor mistake but she could remember not sending it and didn't really apologize for that and couldn't find her notes in her crazy notebook with multiple random notes and drawings from other customers she's spoken to. Anyways, just been one crazy and terrible experience after another and they were both with her so if you're going to go in maybe deal with one of the guys there. I had a gentlemen the very first time I went in who was very clear and gave me all the print outs pretty quickly when I asked for them. Good luck!
