Again, this begs another serious question: Why was this not hooked up to an alternate power source to see if the new battery was necessary? S.O.P., boys, but no. Takes me back to 2 years ago when they handed me back a non-working laptop that was only in for a virus scan/cleaning. Only later did I find out that the hard drive was just bouncing around loose upon job completion. Certainly wasn't that way when I brought it in. They just neglect to put it back together properly. Why did I even give Iteck a second chance? Because I was told, after calling around, they were the only local place that could help. THEY DIDN'T!

Despite the fact they claim to have a 5 year warranty, they stated they wouldn't cover anything other than burn in, despite that not being on the warranty document. After over an hour of escalations, LG agreed to assign a certified tech to review the situation and thankfully it was Kevin at VidTech. He reached out and I was able to send pictures of the issue via text message. He spent time on the phone with them and convinced LG that the panel was truly a warranty issue, saving me over $1800. I just had to pay labor and travel fees, which I feel were very reasonable. He was able to get the panel within a matter of days and set up the appointment. He was very efficient in getting the new panel installed and everything works great now. I wouldn't hesitate to call VidTech for service again in the future.
