As someone with dark skin and 4C hair who has always struggled with ingrown hairs, scarring, and irritation, the difference has been incredible. The front desk staff was not very kind or welcoming during checkout. I was made to feel embarrassed for not knowing that two extra waxing strips would cost an additional $22, and that the travel-size wipes were $13 after being told they were free. I left feeling uncomfortable, embarrassed, and like I wasn't treated very well by the front desk. While I appreciated the kindness of the person who provided the service, the checkout experience really impacted how I felt leaving the appointment.
