When I brought up to the price difference to the nail tech she agreed to match - I am thankful, but why would I have to point out that I was being charged $15 extra for a fill vs the set? The nail tech and receptionist chalked it up to being a different shape or color when it was the same shape and color as the two weeks prior.. Getting my nails done here turned from relaxing to feeling like I have to speak up for myself or they will squeeze as much money out of me as they can. The nail tech trying to squeeze money out of me wasn't even as good as the first! When I asked my second nail tech for cuticle care bc she hadn't touched them at all, she tried to charge me $10.. Going somewhere else in two weeks! And the two weeks after that.

I very rarely get my nails done so I wouldn't have know the difference and probably would have gotten gel anyways after I thought about it because of its durability but I just wish they asked because I didn't originally budget for it and it was a surprise at the end.

I went On Their page and saw their amazing nail art, I was in the area and showed up for my 6 o'clock appointment, and was taken until 6:32. The lady began to laugh as I showed her my design, and would clearly gossip about the colors and shape me and my sister chose for our OWN nails. The first thing she told me was that there was absolutely no way she could go the same design but she'd do it "similar", she seemed very trustworthy and honest at first so we proceeded. We had a lot of back and forth on how I wanted my nails to look as I would kindly ask her to fix several parts. I will also mention that she cut my finger as it bled, and claimed I moved too much. I let all this slide, until it came time to pay where I asked if they take Apple Pay and she had said no, until her coworker had to correct her and accept my payment. She should know what customers can pay with. She charged me 15 extra dollars for lines on my nails, as my sister got a detailed French tip and was only charged 5 extra dollars. When we called to make the appointment, they explained even with design the total would be 42$ even. I am very upset and dissatisfied as not only my nails turned out messy, but the attitude she had with me as I first stepped in the door. Overall, I felt disrespected and I'd consider this to be extremely unprofessional service. Will not be returning. (The end result of the nails are okay, however her behavior really got to me) read more

Hands down that this is the newest, most beautiful, clean, and best salon in San Diego. I've been to all the nail shops down in Pacific Beach and this one is by far the best in ever single aspects. Plus the parkings here is pretty good. I've been to SO many salons, and this is the first one that I love enough to write a review on. Just "WOW". Also I found out that they have private rooms for parties, weddings, or any other special events. I came in the next time with a group of my girlfriends from Temecula, and they loved it! Their spas are brand new, clean, sanitary, and the price is super affordable with all the services that comes with it. My new favorite go to spot. I really mean it when I say it is the most beautiful and spacious salon. It feels like I am at a 500 dollars hotel room, it's that nice. Totally recommend this place, will be driving half and hour to get my nails done here. LOVE IT. I came in here for a gel manicure and pedicure and I am very satisfied with both. A brand new salon ! Fresh , clean , new spa chairs , new working station and ....sure new toilet ! The owner is amazing! After successful open other salon , he build this PB Luxury Nails ! I came in the first time with terribly ruined nails from another salon and the manicurist in here taught me why the other salon ruined my nails. Everything she used on my nails was gentle and new tools. My nails are no longer chipping or peeling after a couple of days and they are so much stronger! I will never go anywhere else! She wasn't just looking for my business, she genuinely cared about strengthening my nails and teaching me how to have healthy nails. Very professional and highly recommended ! This is my first time I came to the nails salon. My friend introduced for me.She said there changed the owner.The salon is very nice,and very clean.I love it. They offer a drinks and wine or beer. The staff wears black. Looks very polite, there is a girl who does not wear black but wear short, she did my toes nails she did a good job but she chat too much with the next staff,after she done my toes nails,then she did the next client she talked on the phone too loud It's very impolite, I'll give it a changed four stars.But I hope the owner will review her dress when going to work and do not talk loudly. read more

This is a wonderful location for a little self indulgence! PB Luxury Nails is friendly, clean and the product is excellent. I've never be unhappy with the technicians and how my nails turn out. I always feel so relaxed and at peace when visiting. Additionally, the spa offers a complimentary beverage, to include wine! + snacks! My two sisters and mother in law wanted to end our vacation with some pampering- PB Luxury Nails was the perfect place to do it! We called and they fit us in right when we were available- and all four of us got pedicures and manicures at the same time. My tech did a very nice job of the design I requested. My spa pedicure was excellent!! She did absolutely wonderful and will definitely come back to see her again! It is also behind the restaurant Piazza, you have to walk through the Piazza patio to get there OR you have to go down the alley that is called Drury Lane (I believe). Great, classy color selection, and the prices are the best you'll find in La Jolla. I would totally come back to get my nails done again for upcoming special occasions.
