This was the perfect place to have our wedding. Everything from the scenery, to the food, to the service was fantastic. Fay is wonderful to work with and accommodated every request we had. My guests all raved that Pazzos 311 was a wonderful venue for our wedding. They loved their meals and the atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much I wish we could do it all over again. This is a nice lunch place in the loop. Its pretty hard to get a seat in that atrium area so I usually throw down some items to reserve a table before I get in line with the people I'm with. Pretty much all the entrees are really nicely priced and the quality is in generally really good. One complaint is that the soda machine blocks the menu so you can't really see the options until a guy is asking for your order. This place is somewhat of a mystery in that some days its packed and other days its not. Not my favorite place for lunch in the loop but a good place to get lunch. read more

This is a great lunch spot. You can call for reservations and request to be seated in the atrium which is nice because of the light and you are near the beautiful fountain. They bring great little rolls to the table while you wait for your food and everything I have had here I loved. read more

I've worked across the street from the building housing Pazzo's for nearly 4 years and today was my first experience. Heck, I even attended a Yelp event in the lobby right outside Pazzo's probably 3 years ago (it was the volunteer event, my first one too!). This joint is super fast for take out. They seem to have their ordering system down to a science. Don't accidentally get into the salad line if you want to order from the grill. That was my mistake, oopsie, ya live and learn. One BBQ chicken wrap and fries coming right up! Tons and tons of chicken in one gigantic wrap, topped with lettuce and tomato and I requested a small dollop of mayo. Nothing amazing stands out but I quite enjoyed it and it was cut in half so I can have the other half later. The fries were standard and tasty. They also have dine in and ample seating in the lobby of the building. Speedy in and out service at about 12:30pm on a Friday? Yes, please! read more

My wife and I had our wedding at Pazzo's on May 1st, 2010. It was the perfect venue for our 125 guests. We were so happy with the way everything turned out, it was absolutely beautiful. Fay Sweeney was so easy to work with and the evening went off without a hitch. The food was great and the staff was even better. While it's a very unique venue, what really sold us was the price. You would be hard pressed to find a better deal in Chicago, especially with the drink packages that included top shelf liquor. Our reception was a blast! The escalators turned out to be the hit of the party as the conga line went all they way up both sets of escalators and back down...hilarious! read more

I am a wedding officiant and I write this review today to say that if you are looking in the downtown Chicago area for an interesting wedding venue, or for a neat place right near Willis tower for something to eat, considering Pazzo's as an option is a great decision. It is a majestic and regal setting, something out of the ordinary and completely unexpected. I have officiated two weddings here. The first was a planned, lovely affair, and the second happened today. The fact that it happened at Pazzo's was completely unplanned. The wedding couple had planned to hold their small wedding ceremony at the Skydeck, but high winds closed the Skydeck at the last minute. They were in their limo wondering what on Earth to do, and I scrambled to think of a Plan B for the couple. So I walked over to Pazzo's since I had been there before, and asked the manager, Aziz Z.,(whom I had not met before) if it would be possible to hold an impromptu wedding ceremony in his restaurant. He so very graciously and instantly agreed, even though the restaurant was technically closed (so he knew that the group coming in would not/could not even make a purchase!) The wedding ceremony went on and was beautiful, and I am so grateful to Pazzo's for making it so easy for the couple and their party who found themselves in such a bind. I do so appreciate kind hearts, as they are not incredibly easy to find, and I am happy to support a business that would do something simple to be nice. I used to like Pazzo's but I am inclined to never go back there again. A friend and I tried to have lunch there. We ordered our food and 45 minutes later it had still not arrived. Our waiter avoided us for 44.5 of those minutes and stopped by about half way through our wait to tell us that the food would be ready in just a few more minutes. Having jobs to get back to, we had to leave without eating. Very, very disappointing. read more

We had our wedding reception here July 2012 and are so sad it's over as we had a fantastic time. Fay the coordinator and her team are outstanding. Fay was receptive, communicated very well throughout the entire process and ensured the night flowed smoothly. The venue is gorgeous and different especially if you are not looking for a traditional banquet hall. The food was great and the service was excellent. This place is great, especially their lunch station which gets you in and out fast. Has one of the best buffalo chicken wraps I've ever had. The pasta and salad options are excellent as well. though right near my office, i find myself here not often enough. they put a nice modern twist on traditional italian food. everything has just enough flavor without it being overpowering, and the service is fast which is ideal for people who work downtown and are on lunch breaks. i was here with a client for a lunch meeting and they got into a conversation with the waitstaff and apparently this restaurant venue doubles as a space to host a wedding reception. with the strikingly tall ceilings, famed indoor palm trees and water fountain, this totally makes sense. read more

We worked with Faye on our reception and she was great. The food was outstanding and our guests had a so much fun. The service was 'on point' and the atrium looked beautiful. This is probably a place I wouldn't go to if it wasn't the only choice for our work lunch program. While most of the food is fine, the inconsistency of the quality make it a real hard place to go back to every day. One week you will get a solid menu item, but the next time you eat the same thing you will want to throw it away. read more

Pazzo's was a gem in the Chicago wedding scene. My husband and I fell in love with this venue the moment we saw it. It has the big city feel at a more affordable price. Fay, the wedding coordinator was amazing - so helpful, professional, and kind. Fay and her staff went above and beyond to make our day special and perfect. I think the best decision I made regarding my wedding was to have both my ceremony and reception at Pazzo's. The venue is stunning, with a giant atrium that gives a beautiful view of the city, including the Willis Tower. My out-of-town guests were raving about how gorgeous the venue was for days after our wedding. The food was also amazing. We were able to serve a paired entree, which our guests loved. The filet was especially delicious, as were the big and colorful antipasto platters that were set at each table. I also found Fay, Pazzo's wedding coordinator, to be very easy to work with. She was responsive to my calls and emails and has a lot of experience in the wedding industry. She provided good advice and was helpful as we planned our wedding. Our wedding day was perfect -- no major mishaps and the day turned out as well as I could have hoped for! I would highly recommend this venue to any Chicago bride. read more

We celebrated our daughter's wedding this past Saturday with a reception that ran from 5PM to Midnight. It is difficult to imagine that things could have gone any better. To begin with, this 2 level atrium is a particularly lovely and unique venue: elegant but not stuffy, with giant palm trees (!) and a beautiful glass-domed ceiling overhead. Good looks, however, are necessary but not sufficient for a great reception. Not to fear - the level of service that Pazzo's provided leading up to the event and throughout the evening was every bit on par with the beauty of the physical plant. Fay Sweeney and her staff do an exceptional job. She worked with my daughter and wife to carefully plan the evening in advance and then executed flawlessly; working with the other vendors on the day of the reception to make sure that everything was done correctly. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Added pluses - we investigated many other venues in the city and this was among the most reasonable in price; and there is a street-level parking lot next door! Our family cannot recommend Pazzo's highly enough. read more

we need this restaurant here! so excited it finally opened. the basement bar has 20+ tvs and cold beer. i am there. the food is priced right and very good - healthy sized portions. the lasagna is classic, i'll be back. all the people i brought with me this week loved their meals. stick with salads, pastas and sandwiches. you can't go wrong! read more

So disappointed. Met a friend & colleague for lunch. My colleague told the server that we were going to be there a while so she will leave a big tip. We were there for a (very) long time. Short version is that we went about an hour with no one checking on us or bringing us the check. We finally went up to the bar to pay. The manager(?) was very aggressive & argued that they checked on us many times. Since no one ever brought the check or said they were going to bring us the check, we, admittedly, started to leave to see if they would even realize it. They did & we returned to pay the bill. It was was difficult enough to tolerate such poor service & the response, but it was the condescension & head to toe look (creepy) & sneering (literally) look from the "manager" that was the final straw for me. I'm not proud to say that I lost my cooI. Our 1st server was wonderful & the food was god. Unfortunately for this restaurant group, my colleague & I are both meeting planners. read more
