Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I took my vehicle to A-Team Tire & Auto on Joliet Road because my A/C was working on and off, sometimes blowing hot air, and the A/C fan was making a loud, unusual noise. What followed was a nightmare. I went back four times and spent almost $1,400, yet the loud fan noise I originally complained about was never properly addressed. I eventually had to take my vehicle to the dealership and spend another $250. What made the situation even more frustrating was that when I brought the dealership receipt back to the owner, the original complaint about the loud noise was nowhere on A-Team's invoice. I clearly mentioned the noise from the beginning, the manager heard me describe it, and even commented on the issue. For that complaint to somehow not appear on the paperwork afterward seems pretty fishy to me. A few weeks later, I also noticed that my dashboard A/C vents were damaged. When I brought this up, I was told by the manager" They wouldn't have had any reason to mess with the vents." Pretty interesting to me how you wouldn't have a reason to mess with my vents, when the whole reason for being there was no ac/ ents blowing hot air and noise coming from fan... And after all of that, the A/C isn't even blowing cold. After four trips, nearly $1,400 spent at this shop, another $250 at the dealership, and all the frustration I've dealt with, I still don't have an A/C system that works properly. I'm extremely disappointed with both the service and the lack of accountability. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend this shop.

Tbh, I was way over due for a service and had a few notification lights on so I was really scared that I'd run up a fortune. The last time I had my car serviced was at Fuller's and for full synthetic oil, a 10 pt inspection, a new oil filter, and a new cabin air filter, the total was $200+. Idk if they thought they could jip me bc im a girl and i have a brand new car, but I knew something wasn't right there. This time around I researched a little more and decided to give this place a try since everyone was touting them for their honesty and reasonable prices. Walked in and was greeted right away. I came in 15 minutes early for my 9am appointment bc I wasn't sure what kind of info they'd need to take down since I was a new customer. Ended up being pretty speedy and I chilled at the dunkin donuts right around the corner. I saw them take my car in around 9:15 and it was out in about 30 minutes, maybe less. The guy at the front desk walked over to dunkin to let me know that they weren't gonna do a tire rotation anymore bc my tires were pretty much on their last leg and also told me that the air filter would have to be changed as well bc it wasn't installed correctly. I asked how much that would be and it was only $20 for the filter, no charge for the installation. My invoice came up to be $68! They replaced the oil filter, which was apparently included in the fall special bc I wasn't charged extra for it, full synthetic oil (at fullers this is $65), and the air filter. I wanted to cry bc it was so cheap, but I was also fuming just thinking of how much I paid for the same service (that turned out to be shoddy) at fullers. He also gave me a quote for the 3 tires that need to be replaced and even that price was super reasonable for tires. Overall great experience and I'm definitely returning for future services.
