I love this Asian market and have literally driven 40 minutes just to shop here. It's that good…read more The biggest reason is their meat service. I make beef jerky at home and need very thin, consistent slices of beef, and they're always happy to help when I ask. They do an excellent job and it makes a huge difference. The store is also well organized, with shelves consistently stocked and a wide variety of items. Produce is fresh, and another big plus is that checkout lines are usually not long, which makes the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Absolutely worth the drive and easily one of my go-to Asian markets.

Whether you're looking for live (or just fresh) seafood, fruits and veggies not typically found in the U.S. or a wide selection of snacks and premium meats, HK Market had it all! We did need some help locating specific KBBQ bulgogi sauce and the lady working the beef counter was nice enough to walk us over to the correct spot to locate the bulgogi sauce. Another worker was very helpful when we needed to locate the restroom. While in the restroom I thought it could definitely be updated/cleaned but overall it was a very pleasant experience. Can't wait to try out the meats for Christmas dinner!

I've passed by this place many times 15+ years, but never went in. Today was my first time! What a…read morenice surprise! It's a decent size grocery store with great selections of prepackaged seasonings, fresh meats & fish. The freezer area has A LOT of different roti's, & naans, also samosas, gyro meats, cooked chicken snacks. Wish they had more frozen entrees, not just naans & snacks. THE CAFE IS A MUST TRY! The prices are reasonable, good selections, & boy... they were so good! I got beef Tezala (tejala) & butter chicken that come with basmati rice. Portion is enough for 2 people. I asked for mild bc hubby & daughter don't handle spicy. They both have GENEROUS amount of meat! The beef has bone-in meat pieces & yes some fatty meat that we like bc the fat makes food tasty. They're both fresh & so tasty. The butter chicken is creamy with just the right amount of sweetness, not too sweet like some other places. The beef was tender that it fell off the bones & so rich in flavor. Pretty generous amount of rice too. The staff are nice & friendly. The store staff greet you & offer help. It is a simple, non-fancy place, but it is a gem! Can't believe I never bothered to check this place out!

Mentioned it to employees and their excuse was they're short staff. Lots of stuff are way more expensive than American grocery stores. First you can find mushrooms that aren't available at a typical grocery store. At Whole Foods for example, you can occasionally get oyster mushrooms at around $14-$17 per pound. At Ben, $6.99/pound. King mushrooms, you might be able to find some at Whole Foods that are the length of you thumb for $15 per pound. I bough them at Ben today for $2.49/pound and they were as big around as my wrist and as long as a beer bottle. I can alway find fresh seasonal fruit and veg at half the price of Kroger and Whole Foods. When you're finding regular grocery stores are low on rice and noodles, Ben had pallets of all kinds of rice and aisles full of noodles. Oh and the prices are so much less. There isn't an Asian sauce or seasoning that you won't be able to find here. I don't buy meat, seafood or eggs however I did notice they were plentiful and the prices were well below Kroger and even Target. I've never had an issue with customer service. Everyone is always very nice and willing to assist.
