I had sworn that I left a review for this Chase bank a few years ago. On my most recent visit I…read morewent to check-in on Yelp and it welp, I guess I never did... I only left a photo. Anyhoo, three years later and yes, I still use this Chase bank from time to time. I've gone inside for service and I've used the drive-through. Either experience is often fast and always friendly. The only tricky part is that it's located on a corner near an intersection, so sometimes I have issues with traffic. Other than that, I have no complaints.

The only time I ever needed a branch was to payoff my loan. I was selling my car to a private buyer. Unfortunately, I didn't really know the steps of how to do it. I researched online but it didn't really help. I went into the Chase branch on W. 5th to try to get some direction. The woman who helped me mostly stared at me and told me that I can not sell my car without a title. Okay, I'm new at this, but I did have that concept. I was asking questions like if I pay off today, can I get a temporary title, until the real one comes in? Does the title come to the bank to mailed to my home? Is it possible to put a rush on it? No, yes, no. Well, okay then. Thank so much for your assistance. It's a bank. I'm coming to you for help. I obviously don't know what I'm doing, or I would probably already be doing it. Please be patient and guide me. Thank you.

Update: Leah, the manager, did leave a voicemail, offering for me to call back, but acknowledged…read morethey were "super close" to closing time, which was 3 minutes away. Told me to call the hotline. ***** I had a very poor experience, this morning with Leah, the branch manager at PNC on W First Avenue, Grandview Heights, OH. Yesterday afternoon, I called the branch and spoke with her, because I noticed multiple fraudulent charges to my checking account. Leah told me I needed to make an appointment to come in. We made an appointment for 9 a.m. the next day, which is today, Saturday. Unfortunately, I had a personal issue, which caused me to miss my 9 a.m. appointment. So, I walked into the branch and up to the teller counter. I explained that I missed my appointment, and asked whether I could set up another time for that morning. The teller said Yes, and set my new appointment to be after the manager's 10:30 appointment. I confirmed by saying, "So, my appointment will be after 10:30, correct?" "Yes," the teller responded. Since it was now 10:10 a.m., I walked out of the bank to go mail an envelope. I walked back in at 10:30 a.m., and sat down to wait. About 10 minutes later, I observe a man coming in with an elderly couple. They walked straight over to the manager's office and began to speak with her about what they needed, which was to add a name to an account. The manager told them to go to the waiting area. As soon as the three get to the chairs, the manager comes out and addresses me, asking whether I have checked in. I explained that I was her 9 a.m., and that I was given a new appointment, which would be NOW. She basically tossed me out. I said, "What? I don't understand." She said, "Well, your appointment was a 9 a.m." I said, "Yes, but I came in and acknowledged my missing it, and the teller gave me a new appointment. She entered my name into your schedule." Leah says, "I'm sorry, but..." and she indicated she will be helping these three people who just walked in. I said, "I have many fraudulent charges on my bank account. What am I supposed to do?" (I frankly felt my issue was much more of an emergency than their account name change, and that I deserved to be allowed to KEEP MY APPOINTMENT.) She said, "I'm sorry. I can call you later." I said, "Well, how late are you open? 12 noon?" She said, "We close at 1 pm," indicating there was still time to help me. I went home, feeling disrespected and frustrated. I waited for that call. She finally called me at 12:55 pm. (I saw the phone light up with the PNC identifier.) I did not pick up the call, which I felt was disrespectfully late. It was 5 minutes before the branch was to close, making it impossible for me to come in and get service. She left no voicemail message. I will not be working with this branch to resolve my issue, which has now become critical.
