There website and mobile app constantly says it cannot complete a transaction with no explanation why. Then one calls customer service and no one knows what is wrong. They seem to have ultra sensitive fraud measures that make doing ones banking nearly impossible. Other banks I've been with have had no problems with simple bank to bank transfers. I dropped in earlier in the week and explained what I wanted to do (which was going to be somewhat time consuming). It was late in the day and Michael asked if I would be able to call in the morning, as they were short-staffed. I did call and he was able to give me an appointment. Before I got there, he had researched another option. When he presented it to me, he emphasized that there was no pressure for me to choose either one - he thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each and I felt very confident in making my choice. I was so surprised and pleased that he had taken the time to offer me options - that was, for me, far above and beyond, especially given that the branch was short-staffed. Michael was also very personable and made the entire interaction so enjoyable. Michael Klenk is clearly very knowedgeable and dedicated to providing 5/3 customers with the best service and experience possible. Highly recommend!

My contractor said the draws (when they go to the bank to get the next payment for work being done) were the easiest he had ever been involved with. He was going to recommend all of his renovation clients use the Arlington Bank for their ease of use and rates. When the project was done, the bank rolled the loan into a new first mortgage for us. I have had my personal accounts as well as my business accounts with Heartland and will now be leaving.
