We hired Emily's Events for our wedding with approximately 65 people at a private residence on…read more10/10/2020. From the beginning, Emily asked for our food preferences and made sure we had exactly the foods we asked for. She even suggested a theme for our food to "bring Mexico to us", since we had to cancel our Mexico destination wedding. The food was ABSOLUTELY amazing! We chose to do 3 food stations in lieu of a traditional sit down dinner. The stations were: Mexican, Italian, and Mediterranean. The Mexican station had a chef preparing carnitas & fish street tacos. The Italian station had a chef twirling the pesto pasta onto forks, individual lasagna cups (groom request), and gluten free meatballs. The Mediterranean/charcuterie station had a large assortment of cheeses, hummus, chicken skewers, and grilled veggies. She certainly blew it out of the park with the food! My wife is gluten free and we had several other special dietary requests from our guests. Emily made sure to incorporate as much food as possible to accommodate those food allergies. For example, she had gluten free crackers on the Mediterranean station in addition to pita bread for those without allergies. The Mexican station had the option of flour or corn tortillas. The Italian station had gluten free meatballs. 4 out of 5 passed hors devours were gluten free as well (caprese skewers, stuffed mushrooms, bacon wrapped scallops, gluten free crab cakes). In addition, she ensured the cake was gluten free as well! By the way, the baker she uses for her cakes is FABULOUS! All the guests were raving about the food! Emily also coordinated all the rentals and vendors for the event since the wedding took place at a private residence. During that process, she was SUPER patient with changes that occurred throughout the process. She also accommodated a change/addition to the tables & linens after both had already been ordered...Thank you Emily! We will definitely be using Emily's Events for catering in the future! Only feedback we will provide is: If you use her as a wedding coordinator, make sure you add her Wedding Coordinator package. Although she was gracious enough to help out, when we needed her...we had a friend step in on the day of the event to make sure the last minute details were perfect. It probably would've been better (and worth the extra $) to have her coordinate everything. Since we didn't pay for this service, she was not at the rehearsal & rehearsal dinner, which would have been quite helpful. We hope this helps someone else in their decision making processes.

Less than 4 months before the wedding! Oh, yeah, I was in a bind! We had the event at a remote venue in Verde Valley and they helped us plan exactly what we wanted. THEY LISTEN!!! They do what you want, how you want it and when you want it. They're flexible when things happen or change and work together as a team. The team consists of the creative and the organized. A perfect combination to get you the perfect event. The fee was reasonable and we were able to relax and enjoy our day. The fact that it was all inclusive for planning, cake, photography, and decorating made it easier than working with separate entities for each. They negotiated with other outside vendors for us as well, and that was a true blessing. They offered to do more and, had we more time before we hired them, I would have had them do my bachelorette party and the rehearsal dinner too. Things always go wrong at an event like this, but they handled it with professionalism and discretion. To be honest, I didn't even know about it and it did not impact our day at all. And now they are doing the follow-up - a debriefing if you will. We get to go over everything, make recommendations, and, be sure all the after-wedding details are done. Would I recommend them? Yes. Would I recommend them to close family and friends? Yes. Can you afford them? Do whatever you have to do - they are worth every dollar and every minute of NOT having to stress about the biggest day of your life. Nequal was very good at coordinating and organizing everything. She remembered things that we had forgotten about. The wedding rolled smoothly thanks to her. We had many set backs the day of our wedding (Including Rain and a Dust Storm) but thanks to these 4 girls, the wedding was a beautiful event and everyone had a great time. My order had issues and I presented it right away, two days prior to pick up and NOTHING WAS DONE TO ACCOMMODATE or correct the issues. I requested delivery, I was presented an invoice I paid it and then when it was time to schedule delivery I was told I didn't pay for delivery but I paid the invoice you sent me, you didn't add on delivery, that was your fault. After initial payment I had to send a follow up communication to finalize the transaction and was told "I sent you a paid invoice" After everything that went wrong, unanswered Calls, no return phone calls, poor communication, everything I had to pick my order up from a 9 or 10 Year old child, they didn't have enough professionalism to present me with my wrong order and Give a face to face apology. The worst experience I have ever had with a vendor.
