The store is essentially two long aisles of pinatas: various Pokemon, every Disney character/theme of recent memory, Sesame Street favorites. But I had a unique request: the perfect pinata for my daughter's annual Three Kings party. We didn't even have to walk down the second aisle before I saw it, a giant purse decorated with a full-color trademarked Dora the Explorer Tres Reyes picture. Now I mention trademarked because so many mercados offer not-so-reasonable facsimiles of the real deal; the kiddos never notice but we adults may find the counterfeit characters hilarious or horrifying. I handed over my $28 and we were ready to go. You can also buy party favors, assorted Mexican candies, faux-velvet covered piggy banks, and other novelties. Not surprisingly, you can also wire money overseas through Western Union or pay your light bill. Gotta love the one-stop shop practicality of mi gente. Parking is a nightmare. Loop around the neighborhood and be prepared to deal with traffic.

I took them, I called around 5 pm on Sunday (thinking it would be the same deal to drop the off) they didn't answer. It was closed. (On a side note, the day I was there, she was talking a lot of mess about her employee to another costumer in front of all the other costumers. She said some very private personal stuff about his mother's death and how he was good for nothing and he didn't help her at all. I want to run into him to tell him to quit that place!) I called on Monday and told her that wasn't given a time to drop them off so I assumed it would be the same as Friday. I worked until 8:30 pm so I would drop them off Tuesday. Tuesday morning I had a whole bunch of missed calls and a voicemail saying she was going to make a police report and report them as stolen. I called her back and told her I would drop them off on my way to work. She said "come now because I'm asthmatic and won't take them back if it starts to rain" when I dropped them I was setting them on the side walk. She said to bring them in the store because loading and unloading was not part of the service. She started to tell me that I am lucky she is not changing me for the extra days and was going to make sure they don't rent to me again. She said no rental business takes the chairs back past 5 and they always put a note on the rental agreement to bring them back before 3. I showed her the paper and there was no note nor was it ever communicated to me. At the end of the night she was taking pictures of me and my car. Then she called the next day to say chairs were missing, I told her I dropped them all off, she hung up and that was that.

He ended up calling around to a few different places to see if they would be able to accommodate our request - 18 circular tablecloths. Given how short of a timeframe we had, a number of places understandably said no. Standard Event Rentals, however, was able to fill our order - allowing us to pick-up the tablecloths and 3 garment bags from their warehouse in Hayward, and then deliver them back on Monday during the same will-call hours (9 am to 3 pm). It was around $450, but well worth the time and stress it would have taken for me to finish ironing the tablecloths we bought online. I'm not entirely sure if they do delivery with more notice on a rental, but I would hope so.

He's insane, he turned the marriott hall which when you first walk in just looks like a boring old typical business hall into a freaking masterpiece. As the husband going into wedding planning I never thought I would care about decorations but I'll be honest working with Moh this became my favorite part of everything (other than food tasting). Every meeting we had was extremely fun, Moh and his mom are some of the nicest people on the planet and also Moh is absolutely hilarious. We would laugh so hard some meetings telling stories we would start crying. Then when it came to designing, he's just got an eye for perfection and glam. I had family members thinking my wedding cost 2-4x what it really did because of what he set up. I promise you, whatever the cost is to work with Moh its 110% worth it. To only have to deal with one person, not 10 different vendors and someone who puts his heart and soul into this is worth every penny. I even watched him work for a few minutes, and I remember seeing him from across the giant marriott hall yell at a working because one of the tables was literally about an inch out of line. The only problem you will encounter is if you work with Moh, every other wedding you will go to for the rest of your life will seem janky and unappealing in comparison to yours because with Moh you'll see how all this smallest little details mean so much in the big picture. Absolutely Amazing!!!…read more Let me begin by saying that the level of service provided by Moh and Farrah is the best my wife and I have ever recieved. From beginning to end, we always felt that we were in good hands and felt like we were in the company of family. After searching for a couple of months for a decorator that knew exactly what my wife and I wanted for our wedding, we stumbled upon Prime Party Rentals on Yelp. From the very beginning the experience was different from other decorators. They listened to our ideas and also expanded upon them to make them even better! Other vendors pushed us to change our ideas in favor for something else, but Prime Party Rentals always put our wants and needs first. Moh and Farah were always communicating with us and were able to accommodate us even on short notice. They helped us pick the perfect flowers for both of our venues and even came up with a theme that was so special to us, birds. We had beautiful bird cages, elegant peacock feathers, and lighting with a feather pattern. At one point, the coordinator at our venue was not working with us with a few things, one of them was timing of set up and tear down. That's when Moh and Farah stepped in and spoke to our venue coordinator for us! Not only did they speak with our venue coordinator but they were able to get us more time for set up which relieved so much stress for us. Everything was perfect and beautiful at our ceremony and reception. Our guests are still talking about it till this day! We recieved so many compliments on our decorations, one of our favorites was, " Wow this is like a wedding you see in the movies, it's a royal wedding." We can't thank Moh, Farah, and Prime Party Rentals enough for everything they have done. Not only did we have the wedding of our dreams, but we gained two new family members as well.
