A lot of events are hosted here, and I have attended a few. I attended Vino at Harbor East twice Christmas Caroling Events and Sidewalk Sales. They have also had fashion shows, puppy events, and other family friendly events. I will continue to support the businesses in this area as it's a beautiful and friendly walkable neighborhood that satisfies all needs.

Two years later, I'm still tied up in the eviction process. Their offshore staffing model (Philippines) means communication is slow, inconsistent, and often outside U.S. business hours, which only made the situation worse. I paid it off but they are STILL reporting it as open and in bad standing to my credit report YEARS later! I have called many times to have this corrected and huess what.... still not corrected! Cause it doesn't seem to like the management within the office is being managed very well or really care. I'm allergic to mold and I really don't want to keep dealing with this issue where it will lead to that. I call and I'm left waiting on an issue which a leak should take top priority and considering I just moved in wonder if the previous tenant had as many issues as I have encountered my just moving in. I truly believe that this apartment complex could be better and have better people in it if they actually took the time to TGAF of what's going on versus collecting money. It all starts with the efforts the company puts in first however it does not seem that will happen.

I filed more than 30 maintenance requests with STAR over the two years I lived in their building. More than two issues every month. I had constant issues with black mold and water damage, rats, and worst of all, a piece of my ceiling caved in during a rainstorm -- a massive 30-pound chunk of plaster that would have killed me or caused severe brain damage if I'd been standing underneath it -- due to the building's disrepair. STAR openly admitted that they were just going to replace the ceiling tile to cover the hole and wouldn't do any repairs. This will threaten another tenant's life and safety.
