Mario is just amazing, His consistency to go above and beyond to make every visit a positive experience. He takes the time and makes the effort to ensure that our boys feels safe and secure with him, he asks the questions so that the doctor will know what exactly is going on with the boys. Mario makes sure the boys can act like themselves with him with no reprimands or harsh words. Mario treats the boys like his own family, and they feel secure with him and safe. Mario also will take the time to make sure that us parents know what is going on and never leave with any questions or concerns. The front desk team Ariana and Elsa are outstanding and make scheduling and check in effortless. Always pleasant and helpful, big welcoming smiles and love to our boys, while handling all the pets that are waiting to be seen. I recently made an appointment for my dog (Nala). I explained to the receptionist that I had…read morerecently taken over ownership of my dog because my son had deployed to Saudi Arabia and had not left any paperwork regarding Nala, so i wanted to start over with her vaccinations and wellness care. I made my appointment and was given a paper with what vaccinations she would receive and the price. On the day of my appointment the technician quoted me a different price which was higher. I agreed and told them to proceed. When Nala was returned I noticed that her nails were not clipped. I told the technician that part of the quote I was given included Nala's nailed clipped. I informed him that it was written in the quote I was initially given and an additional $35 goes over $60 that I was quoted. The technician became argumentative and stated in front of my wife that he knows what he wrote down and that he had not written nail clips in the quote. I asked to see the Vet and was informed that if I wanted to see the supervisor i could come in on Monday. I left very unsatisfied and felt that I had been scammed. Monday I received a text whom I suspect was the supervisor and explained my concern. The response was that I signed the agreement on the day of the appointment and could not understand my concern. I attempted to explain to her that what was initially quoted was much higher than what it came to be on the day of the appointment. Furthermore, that the technician had become very argumentative and blatantly disputed what I was telling him on what had been quoted when I made my appointment. He stated he knew what he wrote and what I was saying he wrote was not true. I sent a picture to the person that text me and showed what was on the sheet given to me. I received not response. I then asked if this was acceptable behavior from the employees there and received no response. My last request was to get the name of the owner or in charge and still not response. I suggest anyone that feels blindsided or unsure about any kind of life-altering medication or surgical procedure, to take their time. It is your choice as to how to approach things. It is tough here to get consistent care because you need to schedule with a vet that you like. Dr Buscema, has been helpful and a good communicator. The technicians were Andrea, Roxan, and Lily. The procedures went well and my dog has recovered very well. This surgery was a precise surgical procedure because they shaved her eyelids. They then removed the cyst and added stitches. There are of course no guarantees as to how your pet will respond to treatment. I had also requested a callback about other testing and did receive a phone callback, this was appreciated and helpful. Sometimes as pet owners we have to take time to understand things. Keep in mind these people work very hard long hours. If you Suspect you need a visit, schedule ahead and cancel the day before if you aren't sure. Scheduling online is helpful. If you need an emergency you may have to wait up to four hours depending on, how many people are there. It is very convenient that they are open 24/7.

So we were taken to an exam rooom and sat there... and sat there... 45 minutes later, we got up and left. We did not see anybody else come into the exam room. No tech. No vet. Nobody. The next time we went were there about 2 hours. We saw the tech for about 5 minutes. We saw the vet for about 15 minutes. The vet told us she would be right back... an hour later, we left. Never saw her again. I don't care what else is going on. Learn to communicate with the patient owner. We will never go back to AV. They have repeatedly shown they do not care about your time and really your pet. Just horrible service.

The workers came in and walked around and said that the smoke in the house was bothering him. We had doors open and fans going. They left. I do smoke medical Marijuana and have my card. However I hadn't smoked for a couple of hours. This is totally unacceptable. I feel discriminated because of this. Now I am waiting again and Thanksgiving is coming and I have no counters. Very disappointed!!!
