I recently left my position with Fetch after 3 years since I am starting to see the new owners…read morereally don't care about the pets - just about the money. They keep raising their prices on the clients and are turning over new dog sitters like crazy. They don't seem to be screening their new dog sitters well and many of my clients had been making pretty scary complaints about a few of the sitters (and about one in particular - Debbie), which the company somehow still hasn't fired. Many of my clients left the company due to these bad experiences. There are still a handful of good sitters who work with Fetch- if you decide to use the company, screen your dog sitter very well and go with your gut.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE DESTROYED FOOD CONTAINER IN MY PICTURES…read more EDIT: Now they are trying to rewrite history. This is their reply to my complaint with the BBB. "Mr. Boyer stated over phone that our sitter Debbie abandon his dogs after her first visit but given the chain of events, there is no reason to assume that Debbie did not visit with the dogs on Saturday and then possibly left the door open that evening for the dogs to get the food. The next morning, a different sitter arrived and informed Mr. Boyer that the dogs had gotten into the food. The dogs were never abandoned." The hilarious part of this reply is that Debbie was also tasked to visit them on Sunday, 9/4/2016 at 9AM and 6PM and Monday 9/5/2016 9 AM and 6 PM. I happen to have the texts from Debbie, which I will post. She informed me that my dog pooped six times on Sunday, September 4th. He has never done this in his entire life, and at this point I would assume he broke into the food. On September 5th, when she was tasked with feeding and walking both of my dogs at 9 AM and 6PM there was no mention of abnormalities (please check the screenshots). There is absolutely no way she wouldn't have noticed my dog had broken into the food, considering they chewed the container apart and tipped it over. On the morning of September 6th, my trusted dog walker contacted me to let me know that there was an issue. I returned home from my vacation on the evening of September 6th (their timeline doesn't make sense). My dogs had no water, there was feces throughout my house, and the food container was destroyed. My trusted dog walker has since quit the company. I would reiterate, it took 2 days for the owner of the company to contact me after all this happened! When I told them what they owed me, they tried to weasel their way out of payment. I finally got them to pay for the "visits", destroyed food container, and the food. I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy. BTW Debbie still works for the company, they didn't fire her! EDIT Beware the new owners. I used Fetch for nearly three years with absolutely no issues. My dogs adored their sitter, and the communication was excellent. With the new owners things got steadily worse (a lot of dog walker turnover) and I was thinking of canceling but I had a vacation lined up and couldn't replace them until afterwards. Biggest mistake I ever made. When I got home there was urine and feces all over my house. To clarify, my dogs are potty trained and have NEVER done that before. The pet care provider (Debbie) had left open the door to the food, so I came home to a destroyed food container and my dog ate two weeks of food over the course of three days. He was so sick and bloated that he was having trouble breathing (see: http://pets.webmd.com/dogs/gastric-volvulus-bloat-dogs) and went from 35 lbs to 45 pounds over the course of one weekend. The dog walker was supposed to be feeding them twice a day, so she should have noticed an overturned food container. She even notified me three days before my return that my dog was pooping more than usual. The only conclusion I can take is that she was not providing the agreed upon service, because this problem is easily remedied by closing the door to the food. When confronted she claims that the door was closed, however there is no damage to door, and I have kept their food in the exact same location for years. I have been with them for 3 years, and probably spent at least 5,000 dollars (I have daily walks during work weeks). The owner has yet to contact me. Thus far they promised to replace the food and the container, but not refund the service. Meanwhile I can't go to work today because my dog is so sick he needs to go to the vet. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau as well, I will update this review if there is resolution.

I wouldn't even ask my friends to come into care for my pets! My senior cat always runs and hides ( she has always been a scaredy-cat ) But for the other cat, Marci is the highlight of her day ;) I've been using Marci and her staff/service for about 6-7 years I believe. She is accommodating in every way. No matter if I'm planning a vacation out of state or have a last minute emergency, I can count on her to check I on my Fur Babies! She is very loving towards my cats and treats them like her own...as expected...and I always get updates with pictures, which is an added bonus!! Who wouldn't want a picture of your pet while you are away! On extended visits away, she is nice enough to get the mail, water the plants and check the house for any break ins or if something is out of place. I have not met a more professional ,compassionate, knowledgeable person with such a big heart for animals and their owners! Thank you Marci and staff for everything!!!!

We use their doggie day care 1-3x week and have also used for minor grooming like baths and nail trims. We also get our pet food from them along with a number of toys and treats. Do NOT use Blue Collar Pet Transport! I ignored my gut and the negative reviews, and I deeply…read moreregret it. We needed to move Ozzie, a berna-doodle from FL to TX and found Blue Collar on-line. I hired them to transport a sick/vulnerable dog, Ozzie, who has chronic Bordaella and an IGA deficiency (translation: catches anything & everything and gets really sick), while I flew to visit my sick Mom. The sales manager promised a professional, private, direct-route transport with no unplanned stops and our harness staying on for the entire trip (it's a contract line item). The pre-trip planning went fine, but the day of the transport was a disaster. First, the driver showed up almost an hour late. Second, after leaving with Ozzy we watched the AirTag (Pro-Tip = put an Air-tag in your Dogs collar/harness) make a 40-minute stop at a random spot off the route to TX. Concerned, I called the driver who initially didn't answer. When she finally did answer, the excuses started ("I was stopping for gas" ...For 40 minutes? "I was visiting my mother's grave" ...Is she buried in someone's front yard because there is no Cemetery anywhere near where you were? Not to mention that her stopping at a grave was clearly not a planned stop in the contract), and 3) At some point, Ozzy's harness was inexplicably removed and put back on backward (in violation of the contract they had me sign and why? What was she doing with my dog?). That was enough to earn a bad review, but that was when it got even worse. Realizing I had a problem with the driver, I called the sales manager for help. I explained the situation, admittedly I was concerned. He listened for a minute and then proceeded to call me "too uptight," cancel the trip, and hang up on me. A few minutes later, he seemed to realize the error of his ways and texted back apologizing for hanging up on me ("It was out of character of me" ...maybe?) and promised a full refund. Ozzy was returned (freaked out...what were they doing with my dog?), and I had to cancel my flight. Later, I was contacted by a customer complaint specialist (seems odd that you need a full-time person to handle complaints, unless you have A LOT). "Hunter" listened to my story/gathered documentation, expressed regret and concern, and promised the owner would contact me to "make it right." As of the date of this review, 10 days later, I've been ghosted...No Refund, No Calls/Responses from anyone. I had to cancel my plans to visit my mom and figure out an alternative method to get my immunocompromised dog home. It cost me lots of extra expenses, cancellation fees, and wasted time. Looking back more deeply at the reviews and info on these guys (12 complaints to the BBB!), I should have trusted my gut and avoided Blue Collar Pet Transport. I also realize that this review will almost certainly be met with a generic pasted "response" or an aggressive, insulting note from the owner blaming me for something to deflect blame from their lousy service (during and after). It is worth it to let others know to Save yourself the pain and avoid this company at all costs! Update: 8/3/25 Don't be deceived by the small businessman act. Richard Hardy is a Bully to those around him (including customers), and Blue Collar Pet Transport doesn't honor their contracts or stand behind their work. He has tried to attack, insult, and blame my wife and I for their mess. He tries to make is seem like an emotional comment made at a difficult time (What were you doing with my dog, off-route, for 40+ minutes, with the harness off, after you left my house anyway?!) completely exonerates Blue Collar Pet Transport from their lies and failures. Yes, lying is sad, but "I'm rubber, you're glue" doesn't work here Richard...I've got RECEIPTS, and I'm NOT going away.
