We had a great experience with the lovely staff at Roscoe's Ranch these past couple of weeks…read more My partner and I flew to HI to visit family for a week and a half. We did a site tour ahead of time and got to view the indoor and outdoor facilities. They provide clear instructions for getting to the ranch. I loved the ample space but a part of me was a bit nervous leaving our dog there (reminded me of the movie Homeward Bound lol). Fortunately, the staff were very communicative before and during our dog's stay. They made sure we turned in all of the required health information and sent regular "pupdates" (updates) through email with photos. They were always really friendly and welcoming to us and our pup. When we picked our dog up, they gave us an envelope with a receipt and the papers that they kept very detailed records on. Their staff does a visual check of your pet each day, notes if they had any digestive issues, etc. I would highly recommend checking Roscoe's Ranch out!

Sophie is all that and more. So, to leave her someplace was so scary... WORRY NOT! MYONLY BOARDING KENNEL is now my ONLY boarding place for Sophie! WHAT I LOVE... Sophie seemed to relax the moment she met the people there. I felt okay (and that is saying A LOT) leaving her there. She was happy (not nervous, not scared, not bolting) when we came to pick her up. She had not lost weight or hair while we were gone. She was perfectly happy, how cool is that? Did I mention they bathed and groomed Sophie (a German Sheppard)? During his stay, I received updates about his progress with training. The facility itself was clean, spacious, and smelled fresh--always a good sign in a boarding environment. What impressed me most was how happy and relaxed my dog was when I picked him up. He wasn't stressed, anxious, or overly tired--instead, he seemed like he'd been on a vacation of his own. His bedding was clean, his food portions had been managed exactly as instructed. Im glad I found a great place for dog training and boarding as well as sitting in Mukilteo. My dogs are not easy to board, since I have a dog-reactive German Shepherd and a rescue Belgian Malinois that is shy with new people and reactive to some dogs. My Mal warmed up to Eileen immediately and my GSD is not reacting nearly as badly as I though to the other dogs at her facility. Who are these dogs!? Biggest thing is that they are happy and not stressed when at boarding. I am so thankful that I found Doggone U, as I travel often for work and I don't have to worry whenever I leave town. The care is excellent and the love that Eileen has for the dogs really shines through with the quality of care. Her training classes are excellent, as she really has a feel for each individual dog and owner. I drive over an hour each way for boarding and training with her, and let me tell you...it is worth it!

Before we started training with ACE, several people were telling me to "give Puzzle back to the rescue " or "put Puzzle down" because of her behavior and the damage she was doing. It broke my heart because I knew she had it in her to be great - we just needed to learn how to work together. ACE taught us how. Our trainer, Lauren, was exceptional! I'm so thankful that she believed in Puzzle like I did. She changed both our lives! Puzzle is now the best friend I always hoped for and the goodest girl ever!
