I've taken my dog here for grooming several times and the first few visits seemed perfectly fine but the last 3 there was always something. One of the visits I noticed the groomer did a sloppy job and there were many uneven areas but I figured it wasn't worth getting worked up over so I wrote it off. The next visit I asked the groomer to completely shave her but when I came back she did not shave my dog's head or tail. I figured, no big deal, I'll just let her know I wanted those shaved too and wait. I asked her to shave them and she argues that the dog looks better this way. I told her I still wanted her fully shaved and she has an attitude and says, "I guess I'll make a note in her file that you want her looking like a Weimeraner instead of what she's supposed to look like." Now this was annoying to me but I thought, maybe she's just having one of those days, whatever. This final visit is the last straw though! When my dog came back from her grooming, she had a huge bleeding gash on her cheek. My husband picked her up and didn't notice until he got home. The groomer said absolutely NOTHING to us about it and I've had no luck calling them to file a complaint. What horrible service! The LEAST you can do is inform a customer that their animal is injured. Can't believe the lack of work ethic and integrity here! read more

We have boarded our dogs with Pawsitive Pals a few times and our dogs were loved and well taken care of - we had no worries at all that they would be fine. Our two senior dogs were allowed to tag along with the staff inside when they didn't want to be social, and our puppy was well socialized when we came home. We were a bit concerned about her, since she had never been around dogs other than ours. The *only* negative I could say is that she had been broken of jumping up on people, and she has since lost that control - not their fault, though, we didn't tell them not to let her do it. We would not hesitate to take our dogs there again, and are strongly considering daily day care to help with extra energy buildup for the pup. read more

I'm grateful Pawsitive Pals exist! They have provided the best care to my dog over the last 3 years! The staff is so friendly and provides prompt updates when I check-in on my pup while I'm out of town. I 100 percent recommend their services for day care and boarding! : ) read more

If I could give it more stars, I would. Pawsitive Pals kenneled my 3 (3!!) large dogs for a 6 month deployment. Not only did they guarantee safety and communication, but also they - made sure that I was comfortable with a payment plan that worked best for me while I was away -went out of their way to send photos and videos almost every day -organized weekly FaceTimes so I could see my pups (and even offered more times to chat when I was available) -loved my dogs as their own, making sure they suited their many quirks and difficulties -fed the dogs separate, and give treats and toys only in one on one play (which they get plenty of), in order to keep them safe from toy and food aggression -closely monitored the diet of all 3 and made sure to ask for guidance when their appetite waned or had issues with keeping it down (we have one who doesn't eat sometimes, and one who tries to eat way too much!) And so much more honestly- it has been an unimaginable relief to me and my family to have our pups in such expert care. We were so stressed to leave them- I had never kenneled 2 of them for any length of time- and they made sure to give me time and availability to do daycare and a couple overnight stays for them before I left. My dogs look happier and healthier in their care than I could have ever hoped. In love with this business! read more

The second thing is she came back with a really really bad razor burn on her bumm and her private part. Poor thing can't even sit and licks the area. I called on Tuesday as her rash was getting worse. Left a message, but never got a return phone call. I called again on Wednesday and let them know what was going on. She didn't apologize. She didn't accommodate what I paid. She didn't offer any type of anything I told her that she'll probably have to go to the vet and that it wasn't fair that I had to pay for a bill for something they did. She never offered to pay half or to pay for it never offered a credit. Nothing customer service is not up to par and the empathy of the owner, Sunny, was very cold. She had no empathy. It was my first time there I will not go back again. I canceled my future appointment so please if you're thinking of trying this place. STOP!! do not book if she would've apologized. It would've been OK no problem, but her heart is as cold as ice.

While it is not ideal to be away from…read moremy babies this long, I have not thought twice about their safety as I knew from the second Megan helped me get my babies out of the car, she knew exactly what she was doing and was amazing with the dogs. She posts videos everyday so I get to see my dogs living their best life on "vacation." There is so much exercise and socialization going on for my dogs!! They do have a couple huskies in house of their personal dogs, so your dog won't ever be lonely. They treat your pet like family. It's also outside of town of mountain home. So you can rest assured that you don't have to worry about anything happening to your canine friend. Also keep you up to date with photos/ videos of what your pet is getting up to. They are sure to give updates if you ask. Jewels does also have a page on Rover, but does better rates/ a discount through their direct business page if you mention that you found them through Rover. Tho, I will mention when I was there in the past that they do have an outdoor farm cat on site as well which they don't ever disclose. They say they don't disclose the barn car because it's an outdoor cat.

The first time I took my dog to them he got a bit unruly (he's an older rescue dog who wasn't used to groomers), but they were able to handle him and help him learn how to behave while there. Now he gets excited when I take him in and loves to see them!
