Our first…read morenight with Arnold was quite literally a sleepless sh*t show, we felt akin to parents of a newborn baby. My husband was ready to send him back to the shelter. Ronit came highly recommended, and I'm not exaggerating when I say she's the reason we're now a happy family. Her cool & collected demeanor immediately put us all at ease. In just one session, she helped us get Arnold to potty outside, taught us basic leash walking, and "place." We were STUNNED at the difference! Ronit gave us the skills & confidence we needed to give Arnold the structure, boundaries, and safety he needed. It's been a joy to see his personality blossom! He's curious, playful, intuitive, and trusting. We're so grateful for Ronit's guidance!

She helped us teach our dog to walk calmly right next to us, come reliably when called, and how to correct unwanted behaviors immediately and effectively. Ronit also gave us some really helpful tips on easing our dog's anxiety during car rides, which have been super helpful. She's patient, knowledgeable, and truly understands dog behavior. I'm so glad we worked with her -- highly recommend her training if you're looking for real results with a gentle, clear approach!

She showed signs of separation anxiety, crate aversion, general nervousness, and didn't seem super comfortable around other dogs. Right away, after reading positive after positive review, I enrolled her in this training program, and it's been an absolute game changer! After a short overnight board and train, she came back crate trained -- like magic. She settled into her crate that first night back at home (relatively no drama!), and now she can sleep pretty peacefully in it whether we're home or traveling. She's also now comfortable staying alone when I'm at work vs the constant supervision that was needed initially. Any time I run into a roadblock with her training at home, the team is always there to offer off the clock recommendations and methods to try. She now does off-leash pack walks with the group and coexists with all the other good dogs there. It's honestly more progress than I could've hoped for this early on. She still goes to daycare and occasional training where I get to join and learn alongside her. We continue to work on new things and ways for her to be a better and better dog and I can see it resulting in her being happier and happier as well! Eric and the whole team (Katia, Alondra, Jeff...you guys are awesome!!) are simply fantastic. I'm so grateful I found this program -- it's made such a difference in both of our lives! Highly recommend.

With Eric's guidance, we've watched our cattle dog gain confidence and transition into a much better state of mind. She is able to focus better, listen to commands, and make better decisions even with distractions around her. She has become a much more happier, playful dog and will even play with our friends and family, which is a huge change from the scared dog she was before. The progress has been incredible and everyone around us has noticed the difference. Eric continues to work closely with us, tailoring his training to fit both our dog's unique needs and our daily lives. As our dog grows, the training evolves too, helping us navigate new challenges and build on our progress. The Follow The Leader K9 team is outstanding. We can't recommend them enough. Reaching out to them was one of the best decisions we've ever made.

Our dog has some specific medical care concerns as well as twice-a-day medication needs, and the staff has always been friendly, helpful, and communicative about caring for our dog. Management made faces and remarked and complained that my boy stank, that he needed his anal glands expressed and that she would do it herself. Ive never experienced that issue with any of my animals, and it turned out to be some canned salmon on his breath, but her complaints were frankly unprofessional. After picking him from his first overnight stay when I asked how he did she said "I dont know what to say" then gave me a list if crimes my nine month old committed, like he barked so much she fed him 100 grams of valium, and this barking bothered her. A person in the dog boarding business complaining about dogs barking gave me a laugh. She made claims that my dog was starting fights, and bothering other dogs, so she kept him in a cage. Where he barked at the full moon. She made me move my car while we were talking, for no reason. All my dogs loved this place but its changed and it seems like the owners don't really like what they do.I wont be back.Edit: It took 24 hours for my baby to return to normal, he hardly recognized me and has three bites on his nose, he is big but friendly with other dogs, since the owner gave every indication that she didnt like my puppy Im sure she will have some excuse, I dont get it. He was bumping into things and drugged up, drinking so much water, hardly knew me. Please dont use this business, they pick and choose how they care for dogs, they decided that they don't like my nine month old dog and I find that unforgivable.

I've had dogs my entire life but never had this problem with a rescue before. As I live in an apartment setting, I couldn't afford for her to be snapping at people and launching into dog fights! Now after 8 weeks of training including my homework in each step of the program, I have an entirely different sweetie pie. She is so cute to begin with, so folks want to pet her. Now they can! I want her to have fun at dog parks and the beach. Now she can! Thank you , Nathan. You know what you're doing. The staff is also great and helped me when I had to drop her off each day. The best thrill was the last day when we went to the beach and my happy pup ran around with the happy ears flopping, always staying close enough and coming on command. She said hi to a few fellow canines and had the best time, all the while paying attention to me. Now the worry and stress I had is gone. I've got the perfect pup now!

Safe and fully supervised way to socialize your pup without any worries. (Nathan is also a VERY GOOD dog trainer... A++). Our pup, Glenna - highly recommends it... Loose Pooch is top notch. We do feel bad for Tatiana below; however, owner/dog temperment evaluations are important... Loose Pooch is not a 'free range' dog park - all dogs do have to get along. Maybe she should not have waited until last minute to find her dog a safe place to stay.

We took 2 puppy classes with her and have also engaged her to come to our home for some private classes. She is helping us work through some oddities with our puppy, like figuring out how to get our dog to get in the car... something she isn't keen to do. Or figuring out why she becomes scared when you sit something on top of her crate, like a shoe! Anne is amazing at putting herself into a dog's mind and understanding what they may be thinking. Anne's all about positive puppy training, which jives with our values. She is really incredible at how she has such firm control over our puppy in such a short period. She is literally the dog whisperer. She whispers to our puppy, who stops everything to listen to what she's saying. I've never seen anything like it! Anne's classes and home visits are both fairly affordable, but it's important to practice at home the things she teaches you. She packs a tremendous amount of information into her lessons, so pay close attention and take notes! If you can consistently do what Anne says, you will wind up with a well-behaved dog who is a good citizen that people will want to hang out with. That's really the bottom line and the best thing you can do for your pup. It's easy to give Anne and Perfect Puppy Academy my highest 5-star recommendation.

I was used to traning Bernners and Golden retrievers so this was a brand new experience for me. We took three of her classes so far and I have to say Anne made me feel 1000% welcomed even if I wanted to do puppy class two over. Our JR was not food motivated and I had a hard time training her with toys. Even though my puppy was not the perfect puppy in the class I gained so so so much helpful information from Anne. I considered it a mommy and me class just for puppies. If you are looking for a puppy class or a trainer perfect puppy academy with Anne is the way to go.
