They truly love their job. They RADIATE it. They care so much and have SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE. If you ask a question, say a behavioral question, they immediately know the answer and extra tips. I kid you not, please do your fur baby some justice and bring them here. YOU will greatly appreciate it. I love receiving our pup's daily puppy report card. She loves the brain games they offer, (which if you don't know what a brain game is, FIND OUT! I truly think, my puppy wouldn't be as smart as she is without them. They really get her mind working in the right ways. My puppy wags her tail more for them than us. (I'm a wee bit jealous). Thank you again ladies. You make our lives easier. Our pup is a happier pup because of you. You are greatly appreciated. Sincerely Andrea and Lacee.

Our dog, Shaka, just loved spending time with her and the other pups she cared for. We were a little worried at first about his temperament being around others (humans and other animals) since he gets a little skittish, but he seemed to thrive there. When it was pick-up time, he was always happy and seemed to sleep very well from getting his exercise and socialize in. (He also smelled great on his longer stays. Thank you for the baths!) Jen is super flexible and communicative. We were so appreciative of this since we tend be rather spontaneous and would ask to drop him off the day before sometimes. We also would extend his stay last minute, for example, when we were taking road trips and wanted to stop for the night instead of driving all the way through a town. (Sorry and thank you so much, Jen!) Shaka has stayed over from one day to two weeks (possibly more), and each time, we've received text updates from her and even pictures of him happy with his friends. I always looked forward to those. Shaka passed away early last year, and I've been meaning to write this for a long time to say, "Thank you, Jen!" for being such a wonderful caregiver and trustworthy and friendly person overall. Dog parents, I 1000% recommend Jen.

He'd only ever been with me and an occasional dog walker, and I knew a full day alone wouldn't be good for him. Then I found Mary Ellen's "Wag Along Pet Care" - a doggy daycare run out of her home. They also offer overnight boarding, which is a huge bonus since my new job requires travel. Wag Along has become Cooper's true home-away-from-home, and that's exactly what I wanted-- not some kennel tucked into a light-industrial office complex. Drop-off and pick-up are a snap, with a predictable routine that puts both of us at ease. But the best part? Mary Ellen is some kind of magical dog whisperer. Every time I pick Cooper up, the dogs in her care are all calm and content. Since starting at Wag Along, Cooper has begun wagging his tail in his sleep, something I'd never seen before. Wag Along, indeed! He's even learned to use a doggy door, which is no small feat for a dog who's reluctant to jump into new things. And Mary Ellen sends daily photos or videos, whether he's playing in the yard or lounging on the couch. Cooper has been at Wag Along for both daycare and boarding, and the experience has been wonderful. Mary Ellen is flexible, kind, professional, and obviously gifted with dogs. Cooper always comes home happy and tired... the sign of a truly great day.

This review is delayed, but I never forgot the stress and horrors Mary Ellen put me through. I had a delayed flight, and she threw a fit that I would be unable to pick up my dog in the afternoon, as originally planned, but instead that I would pick my dog up first thing in the morning. When I showed up in the morning, Mary Ellen was outside organizing her recycling and refused to make eye contact with me, or say hello. My dog, she was locked in a kennel outside the gate with all her stuff. Immediately I noticed my dog had some white sticky goo on her backside, and when I got home I immediately bathed her. When I texted Mary Ellen to ask what that was, she said it was sap. I'm not even sure if she has a tree in her backyard. I worried (and still do) that something terrible had happened to my dog. And then, she had the gall to text me back and say I owed her an extra $25!!! Exhausted and stressed, and having seen how unstable and temperamental she is, I paid her in order to not deal with her anymore. Please note - the prices on her website are not accurate. There's a handful of negative reviews on her Yelp and Google reviews. These reviews are consistent outlining her cruel behavior to pet owners entrusting their dogs in her care, and lack of patience and respect - this woman is not well. Please consider that only because the negative reviews are few, doesn't mean they're not true.

Ari's first puppy preschool class was taught by Meaghan [a different dog training facility in North Portland] During the years since then, Ari has had both in- home and outdoor private training sessions, as well as training walks and doggie play date training sessions with Meaghan. Mae even used to bring Ari on hiking adventures with a couple of other dogs who were compatible with her. Ari has always struggled making friends with other dogs. She's dog selective with a sprinkling of fear defensiveness. Meaghan always knows the best dogs to team her up with. Ari's confidence has grown so much over the years from working with Meaghan. Dog Flower offers so many options for training, socializing and engaging your dog. Presently, we're signed up for the "at home day training" service. Mae visits Ari at home and takes her out for a neighborhood training adventure. I receive a report card detailing what they worked on by the end of the day and a cute instagram post. Ari absolutely loves Meaghan and is always so happy after their visits . I HIGHLY recommend Meaghan at Dog Flower to anyone who is looking for professional training, care , and behavioral support and guidance for their dog or dogs.
