We walked in the door and the woman immediately started going off on my aunt and flipped her off. Her reasoning, my aunt hung up on her earlier that day. My aunt claims she didn't hang up on her so chances are it was on accident. She has a janky phone that doesn't even let her call certain numbers. Plus it's a smart phone and she's not very tech savvy. Anyways, she's going off on us and proceeds to grab Tori and start clipping her nails while going off on my aunt and continuing to flip her off. She wasn't paying attention to what she was doing and she was jerking Tori around and screaming at us about her "husband that can't sh*t". Tori gets nervous getting her nails done as it is. I was very calm throughout the whole incident whereas my aunt told her she was rude and walked out. Taking Tori with her. We didn't let her finish. She did one paw and half of one back and expected us to pay. When I expressed my feelings about her flipping my aunt off and told her we weren't paying, she told me I was being rude now. She threatened to call the cops on me! All I did was tell her even if we were being rude, we are her customers. It's life and sometimes we have to deal with it. I walked out and came back with a check. I only payed for the cut for Bella and she flipped me off when I was leaving. She's lucky she got the check for the cut. In total, she flipped us off 4 times while we were there, she jerked Tori so much that she yelped, and she left Tori bleeding everywhere. We immediately took Tori somewhere else to get her nails fixed and she was much calmer. I don't suggest going to Doggone Grooming for your pet care."

Our groomer fully talked through everything with us and expectations which I loved. Other groomers usually take my dog in the morning and I don't pick him up until after 5pm. I hate that system because I have no clue what he's doing for 8 plus hours. At fetching, they give you a time frame, call you and you pick up within 1.5 hours. The haircut was adorable and we can't wait to go back.

If you are looking for a groomer that will pick your dog up and bring him/her back after grooming,…read moreI've found a great provider of this service. It took me forever to find a consistently good groomer for my Labradoodle and Great Dane. Other than the quality of grooming and general interaction with my dogs, the main thing I wanted was convenience - to not have to schedule my day around driving back and forth to wherever the groomer I picked happened to be. After discussing it with Susan (owner), she put together a service where she will come pick up my dogs, groom them, and bring them back. I couldn't find this service on yelp, so I simply asked her if she'd offer it. She schedules it so that she automatically comes every 5 weeks on the day I choose. She does an outstanding job and really seems to love the dogs she grooms!

If you love your pets do not take them to Animal Hospital of O'Fallon…read more Putting aside for a moment that the inside of the place is cold, hard, and shabby like an Eastern Bloc morgue, the vet techs cannot complete simple tasks like reading the location of a clinic printed on a past vet record. Apparently, differentiating between "Illinois" and "South Carolina" is not something they teach at vet tech school. But if they can't get basic literacy right, then what else are they screwing up? I wanted to understand what was going on because my cats can't speak for themselves and it's my duty to protect them. Then out of nowhere, the veterinarian, Dr. Schilling, accused me of "insulting" the vet tech. This is a lie, one that goes to the very heart of Dr. Schilling's character (or lack thereof). But even before that, speaking with Dr. Schilling was frustrating because she does not converse like a medical professional or even an adult. If concern for my pets makes me a bad man -- if concern for my pets makes me "insulting" -- then I'm guilty as charged. But I suspect everyone reading this review is guilty of the same. I rounded up my little guys and immediately got them out of that dark and sad little place, away from these insane and unprofessional people. As other reviewers have noted, it's important to keep in mind they'll take your money long before they see your pets. I understand why now.
