This place moved to MacArthur Blvd into the old Rent A Center building over a year ago. Service in my opinion has improved and the deals are better as far as shopping though the variety and selection aren't as vast as before. All in all I'd say it's improved overall. read more

I visit this place often and normally I have pretty good experience,staff usually friendly and helpful.So I went in this establishment Monday May 18, after speaking with a manager on the phone in regards to a laptop, an was told to come in they just put some out ,I get in the store and I'm being helped by a nice young man but there was another employee named Nick who I guess was in a bed mood, after being in the store for about 45 minutes or so,I guess Nick was ready for me to leave even though I was still waiting for them to check the laptop I was purchasing,with only one other customer in the store that was being helped but another employee,Nick makes an announcement to me that anyone that has been in the store more than ten minutes to walk to the door and leave,now mind you there is no sign in or outside the store that says there's a ten minute limit, it was not announced that there was a ten minute limit,also I was told to come tomorrow to pick it up, the store had more the a hour before it was due to close,he was quite rude an I felt very disrespected,I just want to know why was I put out of the store and what action can I take to insure this doesn't happen to me or anyone else.This experience has truly troubled me to the point I wasn't able to sleep, I need to know who I can get in touch with to discuss this young man Nick's actions,a corporate number or something this will not go unaddressed.thank you kindly yours truly. No ro begin with I know pawn shops dont really ever give you what an item such as gold or silver is really worth, but when it comes to an item of value such as old american coins and the current going rate of silver I have to beg to differ with this store. I have an ms64 graded mercury dime with full bands which is a 1938s, that saying the ms67 version of such coin sold at auction for near 100,000. I visit many towns and am an avid coin and bullion collector non of which I wish to sell yet. But for this store to offer me 30 cents for the coin is a straight dis and probably the first place I've ever visited that have people in there that have no clue probly on some of the things they get. I would suggest anyone with gold,silver, or any precious metal to take your business to the gold center they are way more knowledgeable and pay top dollar . Just want to help someone else in these tough times and would advise to not go to pawn king thankyou or any pawn shop for that matter read more
