I just read your response. I wanted to pawn my PlayStation 3, and your staff never gave me a receipt or right up or anything! All you Pawn Shop people are disgusting grimy slimy manipulative con artist and you know it. EVERYONE knows about that pawn shop and I didn't become intimidating towards the staff. While I was in the back seat of the police car your staff and employees and the police officer we're making fun of me while I was in handcuffs and the backseat of a cop car about me being raped in jail!! I spoke to internal affairs and they want me to open up an investigation on that police officer and your business but I let it go. I spawn things before and I've always showed my identification and I got a receipt. But you guys are sneaky and it will only be a matter of time before you guys do something illegal like all these other pawn shops and get shut down. Your staff picked me up and threw me outside on my head. My aunt is an injury attorney and I have pictures all up and down the side of my rib cage that had bruises and cuts on them from when you guys threw me outside. I just wanted an explanation of why I didn't get a receipt or anything. All of your reviews are horrible. You have a terrible staff they have terrible attitudes. I used to come in there and buy DVDs and was always so nice and respectful and courteous to you guys. I ended up dropping the case that Internal Affairs wants to proceed from the misconduct from the police officer and your business. If you guys have security cameras in there why not show them??? If I was being belligerent then why not prove it you have cameras right?? Your business is unprofessional, and is filled with a bunch of employees who are con artists. Your business is known all throughout the city. I have pictures all of the left side of my rib cage that's been bruised and have Cuts all over it. And I'm glad I had those pictures still because if that's on camera, well you probably deleted it anyways. I used to come in there and just look for DVDs that I can't find anywhere else anymore. But that's fine I'll never go there again. Your shop is so dirty and gross and smelly. Your store smells like 5 rotting Corpses and a dumpster that's been out in the sun for 500 years. Your staff is lazy and unprofessional. AND..... all I wanted was an explanation of why you guys didn't ask for my identification because you're supposed to make a copy of it and then give me a receipt. AND YOU NEVER DID!! So yeah!! Of course I was pissed!! That was my PlayStation 3 that I was told I could come back and get! I'M NOT MADE OF MONEY! I was in a desperate situation we're a good friend of mine practically emptied out my whole bank account. I was completely lost and didn't know what to do, so I thought pawning my PlayStation 3 would buy me a little time. But what you guys did to me, was soo unbelievably, disgustingly, & hurtful. My job, where I work, I help people with mental health problems drug addictions advocating for people who can't advocate for themselves. I'm a very good person with a very good heart. And you and you're disgusting staff took my kindness for weakness and used it for your benefit cause you're greedy heartless con people. I was in handcuffs in the backseat of a cop car, and you and the police officer were laughing and Shane have fun getting raped in jail!! I really respect and value this establishment and owners/employers!! They are ALWAYS polite, professional, fair and friendly. Just recently a situation came up, that out of respect and for personal reasons I will keep private...the details are irrelevant, what matters is the situation was handled with integrity and I am even more of a fan of these two gentleman that own this establishment!! I felt it necessary to leave leave a review, because I think it is really amazing to be able to say, "I know of this great pawn shop, that is fair and honest and has integrity!" I visited pawn it on elmwood ave on April 3rd to ask about resizing my engagement ring. not only was the owner very kind, but he was able to re size my ring the very same day, and I picked it up in only a short 3 hours! it came out beautifully! absolutely seamless! the price was amazing as well! if I had gone anywhere else it would have taken weeks to get back as well as triple the price!
