I have purchased gold bullion and recommend their Retail sales division which sells to non-dealers…read more They sell at spot plus a reasonable add based on what you purchase. The best part is that they guarantee that they will buy back any gold they sell at the spot price. I found the other reviews were unfair and usually don't do reviews but wanted to undo some of the harm done by them.

Sometimes you just end up with gold jewelry from your past relationships or relics from your…read moreprevious career as a pirate. I won't tell where I got mine from. I went to three places (the other 2 were fine jewelry stores) for quotes and JM had the best offer. The process was pretty straight forward. The owner weighs each type of gold separately (10k, 14k, 18k) and then does some furious calculations behind his desk. I can't say for certain what goes into the calculations since I am too short to see over the tall table but he did look up the current price of gold on his computer. In the end I didn't end up selling the gold. One of the designers at the other store helped me design some modifications to make repurposed jewelry instead of selling it for scrap. But that's not all. The Pawn shop is definitely the better of the two elements in the same store. I was pleasantly surprised at the funky attitude the store housed. The store also houses a collection of vintage art and furniture. It's like the best parts of an estate sale were put together in a small shop. There was a variety of fine furniture and "modern" vintage art and industrial lamps/lighting fixtures. Definitely worth a look.

Join in with others in what some are saying is the modern-day "Gold Rush". Prompted by the high price of gold, many people like you are digging broken and out-of-date gold jewelry and other shiny gold treasures out of their drawers and selling it. In this tough economy some are selling their gold to help cover their car or house payments because they are out of work or their hours have been cut. Others are doing it because they know it's a good time to part with old gold and get some extra cash for a vacation. The reasons are varied but they are cashing in.

Cannot say enough good things about our experience with Spears & Co!…read more It was very important to my fiancé that the ring he got me was something I really loved and would be happy with. We opted to shop for it here because the owner, Ryan, offers a "build your own adventure" type experience, meaning you can customize your ring to your liking exactly. I had a pretty clear vision of what I would like my ring to look like so the process was very smooth and easy, but I imagine that even if you aren't sure what you'd like, you'll arrive at your dream ring in no time. Ryan kept my fiancé in the loop at every step of the process, and according to him, he received the ring in a very timely manner. I am so thrilled with my ring and I've already been recommending Spears & Co to my friends and coworkers. An amazing experience, and we'll definitely be purchasing our wedding bands here as well!
