Thanks but no thanks. Didn't bother calling back. But that's not the end of it. Woman calls me again the day before my fake "appointment" and leaves a message and says, "I tried leaving you multiple messages. You need to call me back and reschedule." Multiple messages? No you didn't, but if you can't take a hint, now I'm ticked off enough to shoot an email back. I type it up and send to the address on the website. THE EMAIL ADDRESS BOUNCED. Now I'm pissed enough to call and tell you what I think. I call and I go through my complaints and she has the gall to respond, "We have nothing to do with that website." The one with your (expletive) name on it? (I said the expletive on the phone) So, based on my experience with this office, they are either incompetent or cynical or perhaps both, but I take this as a warning sign to stay away so I will.

No, he isn't the exciting life of the party of doctors, but for a professional getting the job done properly and with minimal discomfort, would definitely go back to his practice.

Here is my experience: 1) Unprofessional. Never even talked to the actual Neurologist, only his NP. 2) Was told my son had absence seizures off first EEG. They recommend Topamax for my son. We had to go do a 14 hr EEG and sleep study just for them to tell me everything came back normal AFTER they tried to put my son on neurological medication after the first EEG. 3) NP never could answer my questions with ANY ACTUAL information, answers were always very simple and could be found in a google search. Came to meetings very unprepared and ALWAYS late. 4) The billing is horrible. They overcharged my insurance and myself multiple times. When I called to get more detail about EOB, the biller didnt seem well educated on what they actually were billing me or my insurance. 5) NO COMMUNICATION. Noone prepared us for the overnight EEG, which by the way is conducted in the most run down, disgusting "Motel 6" type facility. 6) No patient bedside manner. My son is 5 yrs old and you tell me he is having seizures, then tell me everything is normal. The emotional toll this whole process has been for me, my husband, and my son has been intense. I feel like after 3 months, 7 dr appts, I have less answers and more questions than I started with. NP made me feel like she was always in a hurry and unprepared for our meetings. 7) All together my son had 2 in office evals, 2 EEGs (1 hr and a 14 hr overnight), genetic testing, and multiple survey/tests and the end result is he is normal. Sounds and feels like a money grab to me. They charge you for documentation about your child's milestones that YOU fill out. Not only did I have to pay a copay for them to email me the documents (an office visit co-pay), but then you have to pay for them to review. You also have to pay for EVERY time you talk to the doctor. I paid for the EEG, but you then have to pay to get the results. We were recommended by two people to see Dr. Rotenberg so we gave this place a chance, the problem is you NEVER talk or see Dr. Rotenberg. I honestly feel like this was all a money grab. I literally HAVE NO NEW insight on my child at all. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE AND I ABSOLUTELY FEEL BAMBOOZLED.

Staff told me the forms are normally sent only 24 hours before the appointment. I repeatedly explained that I had multiple medical records to upload into the portal and wanted the physician to have adequate time to review them before the appointment. On Friday, I was specifically promised that the forms would be emailed Monday. Monday came, and nothing was sent. I called several more times and was repeatedly transferred without receiving the paperwork, an explanation, or a resolution. I eventually spoke with Maria Christina. It sounded as though she was driving or otherwise distracted, so I asked three times whether she was available to speak with me. Each time, she responded in a condescending and dismissive tone, "I'm speaking with you." When I asked why the forms were still unavailable after a week of calls and promises, she did not answer my question, provide an explanation, or offer a resolution. Instead, she abruptly stated, "We're going to cancel your appointment." This office turned a basic request for routine patient paperwork into a week-long runaround and then cancelled the appointment rather than provide the forms, explain the delay, or resolve the issue. The administrative service was completely unprofessional and disorganized.
