I can't say enough good things about Anything is Pawzible.  We have a very challenging foster…read morefailure, Darby, who came to us with severe anxiety, as well as resource guarding and aggression issues.  We started working with Yvonne Feeny a year ago, doing 1:1 sessions after failing with another trainer who did not have the skills or knowledge to help us with Darby.  The situation was dire.  We were scared and completely distraught. Yvonne has a wonderful way with dogs and is very equipped to deal with challenging dogs.  Darby quickly warmed up to her because she knew the right way to interact with him.  He quickly learned to trust and LOVE her.  She has become his favorite person by far!  She has helped us immensely by teaching us how to meet Darby where he is at and engage him.  Make no mistake- you have to do the work if you want your dog to get better. It is HARD WORK.  But you will have a knowledgeable, funny, and caring teacher right behind you if you work with Yvonne.   Darby is still working very hard, but he has made such huge strides. In a year, we went from a dog who was snapping and growling at us to joining a group class!!!  We never thought this would be possible!!!  We just can't believe he is the same dog!  We just finished the Basic class with Yvonne and it was fantastic.  The Avondale location is spacious, so you have plenty of space to work with your pup and the homework is helpful and just enough- not too overwhelming. It is great value for the price! I can't say enough positive things about experience. If you have a challenging pup, this is the place.  There is hope. Thank you, Yvonne and Anything is Pawzible!

I hired Raza for puppy training in November 2024 and opted for the $800 package with 10 sessions…read more Why a 2-star review? Because Raza knows dogs, but he DOES NOT know business. For multiple training sessions and pick-up and drop-off appointments for boarding, he was significantly late or asking to change days/times at the last minute. He always has dog-ate-my-homework excuses: he and his girlfriend had a fight and she threw his phone across the room breaking it; he hit a deer and his car is totaled; his brother lost his house keys and he had to go home to let him in; he ran into traffic because of the weather; he left his phone at a restaurant and someone stole it; he got pulled over by the police, on and on, you get the picture. On average he's 10-15 minutes late, at worst he's been 30 minutes-1 hour late. On 3 separate occasions he offered to compensate me with an additional session. He refused to refund me unused sessions, so I was stuck. Frankly, he doesn't have the discipline to have a rigid business policy like that. We had a come-to-Jesus conversation about his behavior in which he promised the tardiness would stop. The final straw for me was him being unresponsive on the day of pick-up for boarding on February 11, 2025, the night before an early morning flight (which he knew). We agreed in writing and in-person on the day/time a week in advance. The day before, I get no confirmation. The day of, I messaged him throughout the day looking for confirmation with no response. I had to scramble at the last minute to find another boarding option that evening. An hour AFTER the agreed upon pick-up time, he messages me from an email address with another lame excuse, claiming he could pick up my puppy in an hour (which would be 2+ hours after the agreed upon time of 7pm). At this point, I've already taken my dog to another business for boarding. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I will no longer be using his services and cannot confidently recommend him. My puppy did make progress with play biting, potty training, crate training, and "sit" and "place" commands. However, any decent trainer could have accomplished that AND been respectful of my time, and a puppy's need for consistent complete sessions. I hope he finds a way to become a more responsible and polished business owner. Don't treat this like a side hustle, and don't think I'm your homie and your excuses are gonna slide. I am an Afrolatina woman, so I am not stereotyping him when I say: Do better.

Oh where do I even begin with Raza. We were going to do training with Raza but about 5 days before…read moreour training began we decided that we wanted to work with a different trainer who specializes in rescue dogs' anxiety and fear. We called Raza for a refund and he said he was driving and would "look into his system" and call us back but it has been over a week and he hasn't contacted us despite our numerous calls, voicemails and texts. I even went to the office location listed on his website in an effort to reach him and the concierge at the front desk of this luxury residential building said that he had never seen or heard of Raza or the training company. There were a few reasons why we decided to cancel the training with Raza including the fact that we didn't want to use an E-collar or a prong collar on our new rescue dog; both are tools that Raza relies on. Secondly, Raza called our dog "a little shithead" during the evaluation when our dog was barking at him which I was fine with in the moment but after a few days I felt uneasy about having a trainer who saw my dog's fear and anxiety as "shithead" behavior. I was concerned that Raza would punish him for this behavior through the e-collar. Someone who is ill tempered should not be training dogs with e collars. They can be used properly if the owners are comfortable with them but we don't believe that Raza would use them properly especially after finding out that he had been arrested and jailed for domestic battery and aggravated domestic battery (screenshots of newspaper release on this provided below and link to newspaper release is here: https://www.theherald-news.com/2017/10/23/will-county-felony-files-oct-23-2017/d8abnka/). Also, on the Canine Club of Chicago website it claims that the team has over 20 years of experience. On the Team section of the website Raza is the only trainer listed - Raza is 29 or 30 years old according to what I found online so he is counting training experience from him as a 9 year old. Every aspect of Raza's business seems illegitimate and he has scammed us out of $670 ($500 for the training and $170 for the collars which we never received from him since he would not call us back about the refund). Most of the 5 star reviews you see here are from friends and family so I don't believe he has legitimate customers Update: The day after I posted my review on Google, 4 new reviews (all very vague and short) popped up - this further makes me think that his reviews are fake. One even said he is the "real deal" which is very strange to note on dog training unless it is a fake review trying to make people think that this business is legitimate.

I believe I was in contact with KIM who honestly made me feel like I was just chatting with a friend! She was so approachable, understanding, and really went into the details of what option would best support my tiny fur children. Fast forward 3 months and we just wrapped up our in-home training package with Maureen! I cannot stress how amazing the entire experience was. Maureen has truly changed our lives for the better. Where we started to where we are now is night and day better, especially for my more aggressive dog Luna! We went from no one being able to enter our apartment with the dogs out to now the dogs just hanging out when people are here! Maureen is patient with pets AND people. She is always positive and really explains the WHY of the behaviors and outcomes. She's always on time, super professional, and gave us practical tools that actually work to truly set our dogs up for success but also US up for success as "parents" Honestly, I am a little sad Maureen is so great at her job because we will miss her coming over! If you want a trainer who knows her stuff and makes the whole process feel doable, Maureen is your person!

Helena is truly a dog whisperer and was extremely informative with us every step of the way. Could not recommend Helena and the Tucker Pups Resort any more!!!
