Had a nice dinner tonight and left room for dessert. We love ice cream in this family and we heard great things about Royal Scoop. Luckily, Royal Scoop didn't let us down! So many great flavors to choose from made the decisions tough, but we eventually figured it out. Wifey and my son each got single scoop cups - Nutry Cup I Joe and Death by Peanut Butter. My daughter and I both got waffle cones- she got a double scoop with Chocolate Peanut Butter and Cookie Dough and I got a single flavor-Royal Turtle (chocolate, caramel and pecans). We discovered Royal Scoop ice cream last year in Fort Myers Beach. This year we are vacationing in Naples Park and I was thrilled to find a Royal Scoop less than a mile from our rental! While the ice cream itself is still fantastic, the service at this location is nothing more than mediocre. No smiles, no chatting with the customers, and I swear the scoops are less generous than the FMB location delivered. Maybe the owner of this location doesn't stress the fun aspect of ice cream, or maybe it's the location in a shopping plaza in the middle of upper class suburbia, but if it was not for the great selection of flavors I would swear I was at Baskin-Robbins. read more

I don't even think the service staff even spoke a single word to us while we were in the store ordering. Ice cream is on the pricey side, but at this point you must expect that everywhere. 1.50 for some sprinkles tho- that's outrageous. Ice cream was good, it's definitely a location based shop, no real draw for us other than when we are leaving the movies. read more

I'm giving this place 3 stars and honestly that's way too much. Ice cream was delicious, but my god the customer service in this particular location is TRASH! I've been to all the locations and this one by far is the worst. I'm huge on customer service and the two girls and guy and that were behind the corner wasn't welcoming. That was the first and last time. By reading all the other reviews I can tell the owner/manager doesn't care because most of the complaints are about the customer service :( I came to this location on 1/26/2020 around 4-5 o'clock. read more

this was PERFECT right after 5 college gals hit the beach. We were hot, tired and a lil sunburnt, ice cream was the perfect solution. All of us LOVED our ice cream. We got coconut, mocha, espresso, fudge, and blueberry. The worker was amazing and ran the place all by herself. She gladly gave us samples to try the wide variety of flavors. Yes it was overwhelming to choose but in the end you can't go wrong. The portions were generous enough. The atmosphere was very refreshing and clean looking. The movie decorations made us feel like we were movie stars on the beach. Fresh wind-blown hair and golden tans from the beach match perfect with the ROYAL SCOOP. read more

I had never been to this sleeker, smaller sister to the original Royal Scoop we've visited for thirty years. All twenty of us descended upon them on a Thursday evening and within minutes everyone had a cone, a waffle bowl, a cup, or a root beer float in hand. We spilled outside to the sidewalk tables as this is a tighter space and I miss the cow bench, the sculptures, and the general kitchiness of the store on Vanderbilt Road. But when you still get the same rich, creamy ice cream who can complain? Watching toddlers discover their first taste of Royal Scoop is pure delight. My twin toddler granddaughters' eyes popped open with their first taste, then they were like baby birds opening their sparsely-toothed mouths while baby-signing "more more more"! Introducing a fourth generation to our family favorite was the best part of the ice cream run. read more

The ice cream was good, but the employees were horrible! I asked the employee to show me (with her hands) how big the single scoop of ice cream was and she rolled her eyes! She responded with "uhh just a little over the cup" and I was like OK fine single scoop it is! I probably would have ordered differently if she provided me with accurate information and with less annoyance. I am sure that the employees don't care about any of that though. Annnd there was no line behind me... EDIT: Also, I read Ben's review from below. Soooo funny- the girl in the blue shirt and grey hat is the same one that I dealt with when I went. The couple we were with for dinner loves Royal Scoop so we stopped after dinner. Ice cream was great, service was friendly and efficient, place was pretty busy and we didn't wait very long. I had a chocolate/chocolate shake with whipped cream, it was excellent with good flavor and a ton of whipped cream which is my favorite. read more

Went tonight for the three cones ( well two cups and only one cone). Mint chocolate chip, strawberry and cookie dough were great but the chocolate almond tasted slightly off. Just a little icy and definitely not as good as I've had before. Plus they don't take the reward card anymore. read more

The location on 8th street in Bonita Springs is much better. Might be the other location seems more like an old soda shop or ice cream shop and this location is small and in a strip mall. I thought the ice cream may have been better at the other location, but after eating at this location I felt it wasn't as good. read more

Generally, when you go there there is a line that comes from the counter to the outside. This Royal Scoop is right beside the movie theater & the Gym - which to me is PURE brilliance. It's not a fancy place, there is outdoor seating outdoor on the sidewalk in the front. The milkshakes and Ice cream are next to NONE! Love LOVE LOVE the chocolate chip ice cream with lots of chunky chocolate chips. Really there isn't a bad ice-cream in the place. Get there if you haven't and you will be HOOKED! read more

If you want a Sundae DO NOT GO HERE! The employees have been instructed to give the tiniest bit of hot fudge to the point where you can't even taste it on your Sundae. For two very small scoops of ice cream and a drop of hot fudge with whip cream it was$10.00. When I asked if they could add a little they said no, it will be an additional charge? What a rip off! read more

The place has a good layout, with ice-cream themed decor and plenty of seating. The main area did have a wall stacked with dozens of boxes and a ladder in public view which could have been hidden away, but it was still comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful in explaining the process to us newcomers. You start with a size of small, regular or large (the small is pretty big, as it should be for the price) and a base (Original, Custard, Low-fat, No Sugar Added, Lactose Free, Yogurt (fat free) and Coconut (vegan). My wife chose the coconut as she is trying to limit Diary and I went with the original, both of us ordering a small. You can then choose one of their 12 pre-set menu items like the Chocolate Conduction or Strawberry Sigma which were the two my wife and I chose, or you can pick your own flavor (about 30 options) and Mix-in about 15 options or another apx 20 sweets like Cookie dough or Twix. My wife's strawberry was lovely, and mine was a bit rich, which I expected based on the ingredients. From here, they add the base and ingredients into a bowl, stir it up, turn non the nitrogen and you watch the worker mix it up for a few minutes. And the final product is some really nice tasting ice cream, made to your taste or diary preferences which are infante. The downside, it's expensive in my opinion. For two small ice creams, a bottle of water and the expected tip during checkout, it was $25.75. As much as I liked it, this will limit my coming back. It's novel and tastes good, but you are paying for the entertainment value which is also a drawback in that it's slow. Some ice cream places have a spout of free cold water on the counter and available to customers, which would be a nice touch considering the price point, saving me a few dollars of needing to buy a water, I think it's worth trying out if your pocketbook can accommodate.

I looked up "sugar-free ice cream" in Yelp and Annie's got good reviews. I asked my husband how close we were & he pointed right next where we were parked. It was a sign! They only had 2 flavors of sugar-free, & I chose the butter pecan. It was delicious. I only ordered one scoop on a cake cone and when the server handed it to me it was huge. More like 2 scoops!! And it turned out to be delicious. Well done, Annie's!

I went with the Cookie Monster flavor because, well, I like cookies, and I like monsters--seemed like a win-win. What I didn't expect was the shocking amount of food coloring, which, let's just say, made for a memorable bathroom experience the next morning. I won't go into details, but I briefly considered calling a doctor before realizing, "Oh, right... the blue ice cream." Let's just say Cookie Monster left his mark in ways I wasn't prepared for.
