Definitely the most highly recommended breakfast/lunch joint in the area. By the water, indoor/outdoor seating, with all of the regular meal options, friendly staff and a full bar. We had eggs, BLT's, bloody mary's, milkshakes, etc, and all were excellent. I'd recommend this place.

We stopped at Warrnambool, a small costal town, spent the night then came to Pavilion Cafe & Bar for breakfast before heading back to Melbourne. What a fantastic experience!! The food Is and was out of this world. Fresh, tasty, appealing and like a party in your mouth! A must for anyone visiting this past of the world :-)

The Pavilion requires some navigation to reach - but with panoramic beach views and a modern interior, we found this was well worth the drive. The menu was well rounded, with a couple of locally sourced seafood dishes and a few healthier choices dotted amongst the cafe standards. Friendly service in a great atmosphere - our only complaint was the endless flies, which were just about tolerable until we found one in our bibimbap! Otherwise the food was delicious and well-presented and the coffee was great. Would return just to try some of the amazing cakes they had on display!

Lovely atmosphere with sweet music, flowers on each table and bouncing boats in the bay beside us. A little slow with the service and no water for our table. But it's our only complaint, the food was tasty and filling. We're glad this is the place we chose for our Sunday lazy morning breakfast.

If your looking for good coffee, eclectic menu with a decent water view then bypass the main drag and head south to the peninsula where Pavilion sits. Plenty of room to chill and stare through the floor to ceiling windows. Unlike other places in town there is a sense of professionalism about the service here.

Can't beat the location and the service. Cold today but great outdoors and indoors dining, good food choices, beer and wine options!

The Eggs Benedict was very good, and so were the eggs on toast. Great views of the marina and breakwater.

Location is amazing! Service slow and not that great. Also food lacked a little zing!

Overlooking the breakwater, the best time of the day to come here is early morning, when the race horses are running the beach.

Yep, that place was Brocky's, and to say that they served a pretty decent breakfast is an understatement. I even broke from my routine of simply having bacon and eggs and dived in for a pancake and I must say I was pleasantly rewarded. Those pancakes were magnificent. My friend ended up having the poached eggs, but I really couldn't get any more than 'yep, there good' out of him (though if they weren't I would have been sure to hear about it). Oh, and they also gave us a massive pot of tea with a side of water, with made the fact that they had simply dumped the tea leaves into the pot not as annoying as it normally is. This is definitely a place that I would recommend to people down this way.

There's a case of inviting looking pastries and sandwiches, and a large room with plenty of small tables. At the back are more loungey spaces. The whole place just yells "breakfast", although perhaps if I'd stopped by at noon it would have screamed "lunch" as well. You don't feel crowded, though: the place is quite large, with high ceilings, and you're not packed in like some breakfast cafe nooks are. The ladies running the show were friendly, took our order, and promptly brought out some tasty coffees and a great brekkie. I had a big bowl of baked beans with smoked ham and a slice of toast (one of my favourites); they had a few types of beans in there, mixing things up. My wife had mushrooms on toast - in fact, one giant, grilled mushroom cap, which she reported as being quite good. If you find yourself on the west end of the Great Ocean Road you could do a lot worse for breakfast.
