Serving meals all day every day, The Celtic is an ideal place to pop into for a beer, snack or for an evening meal. With seating both outside and upstairs, it's good for group entertaining. Beers and wines are plentiful (Leffe, Hoegarden, Duval and local types sitting comfortably alongside better knowns such as Stella and Guiness!) but suprisingly, The Celtic serves a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails, presented in a strangely tropical and extravagant way that even Del Boy would be proud of! Delicious, and well worth trying, especially the one featuring Papaya and Bacardi. Food wise, the ommellettes are filling (mushroom and fromage a favourite) and the pizzas thin, crispy and delicious. Good old Fish and Chips also makes an appreciated appearance. Recommended pub!

It is a great place to take in sporting events and chat with others in your similar situation. My fondest memory was The Pale being our starting off point during Fête de la Musique. I dream of my return.

La spécialité maison : les cocktails flambés comme le "cerveau" (vodka, Bailey's et grenadine) mais aussi la vodka pomme et caramel ou le cognac menthe/chocolat. Le soir, à l'heure de l'apéro, des assiettes de charcuterie ou de crudités sont disposées sur le bar. La musique, plutôt rock et années 80, varie en fonction de la clientèle.
