It's just this lot off of Buford Highway that honestly doesn't look visually appealing from the road. A small lot with a bunch of cars randomly parked- no clear parking spots, the entrance of the building is off to the side. We dropped our car off and didn't receive a call or an estimate the rest of the day. We figured they were just busy given all the cars in the lot. That gave us more reassurance that so many cars were there. However, first thing the next morning we received a call letting us know what to expect in terms of cost, what was wrong, and our options. They were very honest, explained everything thoroughly, AND best of all, did not try to push anything on us. We were given the cost estimate to rebuild our transmission with new parts or get a used transmission. They gave us recommendations and did not push the more expensive option on us. We opted for the used transmission, which we were told would take 1-2 days for the part to arrive. We assumed we wouldn't get the car back until the next week. The very next day we were called and told the car would be ready in 2 days. Much much faster than anticipated. They offered to replace the clutch for us too, which we declined and they didn't try to push it on us. The next day, we were updated on everything, and we decided to go ahead and replace the clutch. Despite this, the car STILL finished before the anticipated time. When I picked up the car, we were informed that he fixed another part for us and refilled the coolant for no charge, the transmission has a 6 month warranty, and lastly, I mentioned a discount on the website for $100 which he happily applied to our bill. The car drives amazingly. The clutch feels great. The transmission works perfectly. Shifting gears has never been easier. We are so pleased with the work, the speed, price, and how thorough the communication was. Trust the reviews and take your car here for any transmission needs.

We had to call every few days to get an update or we would hear nothing. We finally got the car back after about 2 1/2 weeks. It seemed to run fine. After a few months, however, we were still having transmission issues and were provided diagnostic codes when we took it to a near by auto part store. Fine. It's under warranty. We take the car back to the shop. Our vehicle sat at the shop for legitimately 1.5 weeks with little to no calls or updates. We finally retrieved our car without our warranty repairs as we were given excuses about how short staffed they were and how someone had jury duty, blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile, we're renting cars, taking Lyfts, Ubers, etc... all while the car is just sitting there. Simply said, this shop does not honor their warranty or at least not with any urgency at all. If you have 100 years to wait.. then maybe your experience could be different.

I went through with a full rebuild. The second I got the car back, I noticed the torque converter locking at very low RPMs in overdrive, bogging the engine down. A couple days later, the car started banging into drive and reverse, then started giving me back shots when it downshifted into 1st gear at stops. They told me it's the shift kit, even though the kit they used is supposed to solve jerks and clunks, but who am I to tell the techs. It didn't fix anything. The car still drives like bum and is honestly really annoying to drive. I also had a common bulkhead connector leak after the rebuild, which makes me question the entire rebuild. They told me to take it to the dealer, but seeing how Ford operates after a $200 diagnostic fee, it's not worth it. This shop charged me $4,500 for the rebuild, which is more expensive than other shops in the area. I chose them based on reviews. I'm giving 1 stars only because it hasn't blown up yet at 2.5k miles, but that's about it. They won't even tell me what torque converter brand is in the car, and they put the blame on anything as long as it's not the transmission. The invoice is extremely vague. I don't know if you should take your car here or not. There are different scenarios and models, so my outcome may not be like yours. Nothing is wrong with my differential or driveshaft. The car was silky smooth before the pump failure. These issues happened day one after the rebuild. I really really really really really really wouldn't recommend taking a car here For rebuild, it's literal garbage

The issue came when the source of the problem was the computer chip- the dealership didn't agree that this was the problem. The owner of the shop ended up taking it over himself (as I work far away) and doing a lot of research to show that this was in fact an issue. Eventually they did get a new chip in the car, and the transmission working again. The customer service was amazing. They didn't even charge me labor for the chip and gave it to me at cost because of the delay. Highly recommended.

I contacted…read morethe shop after having it looked at by a reputable mechanic and the oil filter wasn't put on properly/not at all. When I contacted the shop, they did everything but accept responsibility. The manager, Sonny, acted like a gorilla and refused to stop screaming into the phone. A real class act. I talked to the owner who said I should sue them, but I'm too poor to do so. Please don't take your vehicles here. Now my father, a cancer patient, is without his truck and I'm trying to get him mobile so he can make appointment. A real classic act. These people are crooks, short and simple. And Sonny, you should have left that attitude in prison.
