Good day! This is the worst company, they are rude and ignorant. They have damaged by bamper of my car and refuced to do anything

They are the worst........My car was towed 3 weeks ago and went to pick it up today and was told it was junked. The registry of motor vehicles did not have it on file that the car was junked, they had the title as active. Paul came to get our car because we lost the keys to our rental... bad day for us! Avis was completely useless and left us stranded but Paul gave us a ride to get a new car and was very accommodating. Getting your car towed is not fun but Paul made it better! Thank you! read more

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. My husband car got stolen by Paul towing. Why I say stole, because the reason they took the care was FALSE FALSE. He stated that the car was park on the emergency snow sign AND THATS A LIE. I attached some pictures and clearly there's no emergency snow sign. We went pick the car, and my husband ask him why he stole our car, and he's response was (I am calling the police) he was very very very rude, he treated us like we are stupid or something. The police arrived and we show them evidence that our car was park correctly and the police say that we should take this to court or file an appeal. PAUL IS A FRAUD AND STEAL MONEY. THEY BE TOWING CARS FOR NOTHING TO TAKE PEOPLE MOMEY. By the way, they only take CASH, how fishi is that ??? Paul was a great help to me during a critical situation. I'm sure tow companies don't typically receive great reviews but this is warranted. Stay away from that other place in Everett at all costs. You know what? These guys aren't bad! Sure, they could soften their phone etiquette a bit, but try to imagine working at a tow yard, where you're constantly the barer of bad news, your job is to collect a pre-determined fee, and EVERYONE who calls you is probably having the worst day of the year. It's pretty likley that most callers they get are cranky, they're asking for exceptions and it's their job to say no. Try being nice and see what happens! When I was nice, and I made it clear that I understood their policies, Paul and his staff were all very nice to me. Also, I see a lot of complaints about this place being cash only! Maybe I've gotten my car towed too many times, but it's been my experience that they're always cash only! These guys made things simple, and they were actually pretty considerate when it came to daily charges. read more

My wife's car got stolen 10/27/11 (reported to police same evening), crooks park car in a wrong spot, so Pauls tow it 10/28/11 4am (same night). We called every tow company in the area 10/28/10 in am - answer from Paul's "we do not give out info - call police", what a nasty, mean people! We could've had our car back the very next day it was stolen. Got a letter from them 11/8/11 in the mail they have a car. Stiff me with $480 bill for tow and storage. It took them 11 days to notify us that they have our car (sure they are not in a hurry as they are getting paid for every day they have our car) and lame excuse "oh we had to figure out owners address" - duh, run the tag, every state computer has alarm that it has been stolen or even better - the registration with owners address is right there in a glove box. read more

This business is scum of the earth. This place is CASH ONLY. Wow. Can we get them audited? Seems really sketchy. It is one thing that they happily tow your car the second the street cleaning parking guy calls them, okay, that's your fault but does this business really have to add to the hassle by not accepting anything but CASH? And how come it costs $131 to tow a car that is four blocks away. That's not fair pricing. I'd be happy if that money actually goes to the city, that it included the fine, but nope, just theirs, and god knows if they even pay correct tax. Actual parking ticket is just $30 bucks. I will write to the city hall about accepting cash only and just producing a shady 'receipt'. This is horrible service. read more

This place doesn't deserve stars! If there was a way to place negative stars to Paul's towing they would get them. In the beginning of March, Everett placed a so called parking ban for snow removal. My wife parks her car in this area of so called snow removal and there are no signs posted. The only somewhat notification is a "blinking blue light". I guess that means "snow removal" don't park on the street. Anyways, my wife comes back to her car and it is no longer there. That's right, Paul's towing has towed it. Meanwhile, the time that this is happening is at 10:30 PM. So...my wife gets a ride to Paul's towing and there is no one at the office and her car is not on the lot. She does notice her car across the street. She does a walk around the car and there are no tickets or any other information posted on the car. By this time it is close to midnight. She gets in her car drives off. We never got anything in the mail from Paul's towing or from the Everett police. A month passes and my wife parks in the same place and she gets towed AGAIN. By the same towing company. Once again, she needs to get a ride to the shit hole place. When she got there the owner was there and said if you want your car you need to pay $1,300 to get it. This is the time from the first tow to the second tow. My wife replied by saying the car was NOT in your possession for this amount of time. Well, Paul didn't like the response my wife gave him and got shitty with her. So my wife calls the EPD and two police officers show up. She explains the situation and only pays $220 and gets the car back. The next day...she goes to Everett city hall and to her ad vale there are no tickets that need to be paid due to snow removal. Also, to her surprise, the second tow was NOT issued by the EPD. Paul's towing just took her car. She was advised to go to EPD and explain the situation to the lieutenant. The lieutenant made a call to Paul's towing and has him pay back my wife $124 because of the shitty business he does. This is an example of how people take advantage of other people and what happens when you stand up for your rights. I applaud my wife for standing up for her rights and getting back what she works so hard for. if you ever need a towing service don't use this piece of shit towing service. We came to the Boston area while visiting family in RI and unfortunately, our rental car suddenly broke down. Once we contacted emergency roadside service, we were advised that "Paul's" would be the company coming out to assist. We were originally told they would be there within an hour, but after an hour had passed; I called Avis back to check the ETA. They provided us with Paul's contact info so that we could remain in contact with them. After nearly an hour and half had passed, with no tow truck in sight I decided to call Paul's. The man who answered (to which I found out is THE OWNER) was by far one of the rudest individuals I had ever come into contact with. When I asked him their ETA, he asked "what are you talking about?!" and then told me it would be an additional 20 minutes! When I told him that we had already been waiting for 90+ minutes (we also had our 4 and 6 year old in tow), he hung up on me! The ONLY reason why I'm giving this place a star, is because of the polite man that actually came out to tow the car. So Paul (if that's your real name), if you happen to read this (not that you even care based on the other reviews) I sincerely hope our paths never cross and I would rather hitch a ride on the Pony Express than use your business again. Incredibly rude and CASH ONLY. They've taken my car twice now (new to the city) and every time it's a complete hassle to get it back. I get charged $145 for them to bring my car to the lot that's less than a mile away. The employees for the most part aren't so bad, but the ones who are and Paul himself are very difficult to deal with. read more

My car was towed by Paul's Towing on January 4 after being hit by another car. I live in New York and needed to have a friend get the release form from the Everett Police and bring it to Paul's. I called Paul's Towing to see what they needed from my friend and they were extremely gruff and abrupt with me. My friend dropped the form off and left. Soon after she had to return to get the plates off the car. She called and asked if she could borrow a screw driver and was told no and to bring her own. She did just that and when she went back and asked where the car was,she was told to go look for it. He didn't know where it was. If it were possible for me to leave negative Stars that's what they would be getting right now. These asses have to be the most incompetent rude people I've ever come in contact with. My car got towed by these people from Stop and Shop, so I came to pay my fine and pick up my car. When I got here they told me they only accept cash which is a huge inconvenience. Who the hell does that?? So I said okay I'll be right back with the cash give me 20 minutes. They told me they would be there waiting and that they aren't going anywhere. When I get back, there's a squad of people waiting outside of their Gates telling me that there's nobody inside and that they are closed. Online it says they are 24/7 so what the hell is going on? SobI called the police and they had to call the owners cell phone to get his ass down here because there was a mob of people forming to pick their cars up. I agree with Ivy who said this company is the scum of the earth. Not only do they charge $131 for stealing my car 4 blocks away for about 3 hours, they only accept cash. And of course they don't have change if you don't have the exact amount. There was nobody around when I went to pick up my car so I had to call them to figure out where to go, and the person on the phone could not have been ruder. Talked to me like I was an idiot even though there was nobody in the "office" to help me. When I paid the fee, the guy just started at me for a minute and finally asked "are you all set?" and when I said no because my car was blocked in and how was I expected to get out, he gave me a huge attitude and said he would find someone to move the cars like it was a huge inconvenience for him. Paul's towing charged me $200 for a tow that was one block. I knew I was getting ripped off so I asked him to bargain and he brought it down to $150. He stuck the cash right in his pocket and asked me not to tell anyone how much I paid for a tow. Rip off. read more

The battery on my motorcycle died and AAA won't jump start motorcycles. They gave me a couple of numbers for local tow companies that could help. The first company gave me a high quote of $50. Then I called Paul's. Paul's quoted me $90. That's $90 for literally two minutes of work. You connect two wires. $90 to jump start a battery?!?! That's absolute robbery and absolute garbage. read more

This Tow Company is such an inconvenience,(CASH ONLY) as it is having your car towed is not pleasant, then also THEY DO NOT OFFER ANY DIFFERENT PAYMENT OPTIONS, making it very inconvenient, the city of Everett, should consider hiring a company that gives the City a better feel, being Towed is unpleasant enough to also have the inconvenience of not being able to utilize your debit or credit card, or at least provide an ATM so the misfortunate person does not also have to pay a cab to go get cash to then finally get their vehicle, seriously this is such a terrible & inconsiderate way of conducting business read more

This company towed my car (rightfully so) but then broke off my muffler and claiming they have never done this to a car in the past. I find that hard to believe being a towing company. I've now had to pay an additional $200 to get my muffler fixed which they refused to help me with. I am very upset with my interaction with this business. read more

At V.W my car was towed as well. And there answer to me was that the law changes every year and it comes out on the newspaper and local news ... well here's my news i am a single mother of 2 with a FT job and i come home from a long day of work to cook go over homework and bed time , i don't have the time to watch the news or read the news paper and there is no new signs on my block that states they changed sides of the street for snow removal... my kids Christmas is ruined as well. i will lose a few hours of work on Monday but i am going to the City hall early in the morning. so please anyone else who would like to join me lets head to City hall... our money should be refunded ... for lack of communication and lack of responsibilities from the city hall to not send notices home by mail for city changes ... read more
